We have a new system and this is the first time I’m ordering catalogs under the new system. I can’t mail you a catalog if you have this box unchecked. Many of you who order from me regularly have the opt-out option chosen.

To Check Your Opt-In Status (follow the screen shot photos):

  1. Go to your SU account and click on your name in the upper right hand corner. Click “Demonstrator” on the drop-down list.
  2. I should be listed there as your demonstrator. Click “View” next to my name.
  3. Under “Opted In For Contact” heading, make sure the toggle switch is green and says Opted In.
  4. Updated 7/23: You also need to have your phone number completed in the Account Settings section to complete the Opt-In. (Some glitch they are experiencing)

I created some colorful cocktails with one of my all-time favorite techniques: emboss resist!

The background begins with a 5-1/2″ x 1-1/4″ piece of Celebratory Sips Secret Sea patterned paper, adhered to the top of a Secret Sea card front. Next, I embossed a 5-1/2″ x 2-1/4″ piece of Cloud Cover cardstock with the floral pattern of the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder. It’s adhered with SEAL adhesive, as well. Finally, I used the now retired Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder to add texture to a 5-1/2″ x 1/2″ piece of Coastal Cabana and attached that with more SEAL.

I created the colorful drinks by embossing the Cheers & Sips images and applying color over the top with Blending Brushes. I stamped two tall glasses and one smaller glass with VersaMark Ink onto Basic White cardstock, sprinkled White Embossing Powder over the top, tapped off the excess, then heat-set with the Heat Tool until glossy & smooth. I repeated the steps with three sets of ice cubes, the lemon slice, the raspberry and the umbrella.

TIP: It’s much easier to die-cut the images after coloring, so you can see them! I used the Blending Brushes to color one tall glass and two pairs of ice cubes with Coastal Cabana. The other tall glass and ice is colored with Berry Burst. The small glass is colored with Timid Tiger. The lemon slice is in Daffodil Delight, the raspberry is in Berry Burst and the umbrella is a combination of Berry Burst and Timid Tiger. Be sure to watch my class video replay to see this process in action.

I used the Cheers & Sips Dies to cut out the colored images and adhered them to the card front, popping the outer two glasses with Dimensionals.

I stamped the Cheers & Sips sentiment in VersaMark Ink onto a Secret Sea Stylish Shapes banner, embossed it with White Embossing Powder and attached it with a combination of SEAL and Dimensionals.

I finished by adding a few Holographic Resin Dots around the focal point. Bubbly goodness!
