Hi Stamping Friends!

I'm mailing out all of my November Countdown To Christmas Class-To-Go
Kits today!  The kits feature the fun and festive Christmas Collectibles
Bundle of ornament stamps and Christmas Ornament Punch.

Deck the halls - two cool

This is the second card design from the class.  See the first one here: Red Solo Ornament

Deck the halls - red

Background Basics: I started with a Pacific Point card base, layered with a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Argyle embossed Old Olive card stock.

Sentiment: The bold "deck the halls" phrase from Christmas Messages is the perfect complement to the hanging ornaments!  I stamped it in Cherry Cobbler on a 3-3/4" x 2-1/4" piece of Whisper White.

Multicolored Ornaments: I have fallen hard for these cute, retro-style ornaments…mostly because of the way
you can color them with markers for so many different looks!  Here, I've colored them with Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Pacific Point directly on the rubber, then stamped onto Whisper White.

Twine Strings: I adhered some White Baker's Twine to the back of each ornament with Dimensionals, and wrapped the hanger around the top of the Old Olive layer.  The bows are tied separately and attached with some Multipurpose Glue.

Deck the halls - pool

My second version replaces the Cherry Cobbler with Pool Party ink for a brisk, wintery look!

Dazzling Accents: Look closely and you can see that I used a 2-Way Glue Pen to add some Dazzling Diamonds glittering accents to the decorative parts of the ornaments.  I had to go back and add them to my first card, too!  It's such sparkly goodness!
