Christmastime Is Here For Christmas & More!
The Christmastime Is Here suite of products is certainly versatile enough to use throughout the year! Roses make a great focal point for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, thinking of you and even sympathy cards.
Background Basics—I started by stamping the Christmastime Is Here outline image in Crumb Cake ink onto two corners of a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock. I tied some Gold Shimmer Ribbon around the layer before mounting it onto the Early Espresso card base with SNAIL.
Focal Point Foundation—I created a base for the label by layering a 2-3/8" x 3-5/8" piece of Christmastime Is Here DSP onto a 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock, then again onto a 2-3/4" x 4" piece of Early Espresso cardstock. It's popped up onto the card front with Dimensionals.
Sentiment Label—I die-cut a Roses dies label shape from Whisper White, then stamped one of the Christmas Rose sentiments along the bottom with Crumb Cake ink. Next, I hand-cut three roses from the Christmastime Is Here DSP. TiP: The fussy-cutting left some uneven white edges, so I used Stampin' Blends in light Cherry Cobbler, Poppy Parade and Mossy Meadow to clean them up! I added the roses with SNAIL, then popped up the whole thing with Dimensionals. I finished by adding a Gold Glitter Enamel Dot. Pretty!
Two Cool—I paired the stamped background images and the roses with some different elements and achieved a pretty "thinking of you" card!
Background Basics—This time, I stamped the outline image in Soft Sea Foam and wrapped Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon around the layer that's mounted onto a Poppy Parade card base.
Focal Point Foundation—The gingham Poppy Parade pattern is from the Brights Designer Series Paper Pack. It's layered onto Soft Sea Foam, then again onto Poppy Parade.
Sentiment Label—I stamped a sentiment from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set in Cherry Cobbler, then added the hand-cut roses to the bottom. I finished up with a couple of Soft Sea Foam Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins. Too Cool!
