My second favorite paper from the Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper pack is the beautiful sketched blossoms with a lined background. You could easily add some sponged color tinting to these flowers, just like I did on my Tinted Roses cards (my favorite paper) from yesterday. But, I liked today's design without any altering—just monochromatic and classy!

Background Basics—I cut a 3-3/4" x 3-1/2" piece of the sketched pattern Timeless Elegance DSP, along with a 3-3/4" x 1-1/2" piece of the black lace design, and adhered them to a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Sahara Sand card stock. Before attaching it to the Basic Black card base, I wrapped a piece of the elegant Black Stitched Satin Ribbon. It adds just a bit of shine and texture to the card!
Sweet Sentiment—I used the greetings from the Watercolor Wishes Card Kit again. I couldn't help it! I LOVE them so much! The font, the size and the shape of these phrases are so fabulous! I stamped it in Memento Black Ink onto Very Vanilla, then punched it with the Large Oval Punch and popped it up with Dimensionals.
Awesome Accents—I added a double-layer Sahara Sand flower punched with the Petite Petals Punch and Itty Bitty Accents Punch. The petals are curved with a Bone Folder and I added a Pearl Jewel in the center. I adhered the two layers with a Glue Dot and popped it with a Dimensional next to the greeting. Finally, I added a Silver Baker's Twine bow to the oval with another Glue Dot.
Quick & Easy—I love that these cards are not only pretty, but so fast to assemble! The Timeless Elegance DSP does all the work…just add a sentiment and an embellishment or two!
Two Cool—Of course I tried a horizontal version, too, using another sentiment from Watercolor Wishes.
This time I wrapped the Black Stitched Satin Ribbon around the entire layer and tied it into a double knot.
Card Set Storage Case—We'll also be creating a matching decorated case to store our Timeless Elegance cards. It makes the set perfect for gift giving! Are you willing to part with it? LOL!
Basic Case Measurements—I decorated the full-size wood-mount case in a style similar to today's pair of cards. I started with a two 5" x 7" pieces of Sahara Sand, one for the front and one for the back of the case. I added a 4-3/4" x 4" piece of the Timeless Elegance on the top of the layer and a 4-3/4" x 2-3/4" piece of the black lace design at the bottom. I added a 4-3/4" x 3/4" strip of Basic Black card stock where the seams met.
Case Label—I found a nice Feel Goods phrase for the front of the case, stamped in Memento Black onto Very Vanilla and die-cut with the Circles Collection Framelits. I added a couple more flower accents, keeping them flat, so that they slipped easily into the front case pocket.
Case Spine—I added a 1" x 7" piece of Sahara Sand in the spine pocket, and it's decorated with a 3/4" x 6-3/4" piece of another black design from Timeless Elegance. You could add a personalized label on the side instead of the DSP if you wanted.
TIP: The pockets on the case do not have a bottom, so I recommend adding a couple dabs of SNAIL to your layers on the back to keep them in place and avoid slipping.
Complete Supplies List—"Clear mount" is a rubber stamp to be used on a clear acrylic block, "Photopolymer" is the see-thru style of stamps, also used with acrylic blocks.
