Coffee Break Coffee Pots Cards Cards

The Coffee Café stamp set coordinates so beautifully with the rich, earthy colors in the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper. I love this paper!

One of the patterns in the pack is covered with images of coffee pots & coffee cups in a variety of styles. They look like they've been stamped and colored! One of the images is actually a mini take-out coffee cup that can be die-cut with one of the dies in the Coffee Cup Framelits set…which I spotlighted on this Merci Treat Holder project. Today's project uses the other images from that pattern.

Background Basics—I used three different patterns of the Coffee Break DSP for the background of this card. The bottom woodgrain pattern is 4" x 3" and the top chevron pattern is 4" x 2-1/4" were adhered to an Island Indigo card base. I added a 4" x 1/2" strip of the Old Olive striped paper across the seam.

Coffee Trio—I hand-cut the two coffee pots and coffee cup images from the Coffee Break DSP with my super-sharp Paper Snips, then attached them to a 2-15/16" circle die-cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits. The pot in the back is adhered with SNAIL, and the two shapes in the front are popped up with Dimensionals. The whole circle was also popped up with Dimensionals onto the card front.

Sweet Sentiment—I only used half of the Coffee Café sentiment, coloring the part I wanted with an Island Indigo marker directly onto the stamp. I stamped it onto a 1-3/4" wide piece of Whisper White card stock, then trimmed away the excess on the top and bottom of the sentiment, making it about 1-1/4" high.

It's popped up with Dimensionals onto an Old Olive Everyday Label Punch shape. I adhered a 3-1/2" long piece of Soft Sky 3/8" Classic Weave Ribbon onto the back of the label with Tear & Tape, then popped up the label with more Dimensionals.

Inside—I finished off the inside of the card with the second part of the sentiment, also colored with marker, as well as some coffee beans stamped in Early Espresso.
