Varied Vases Trio Birthday Wishes Card
Darla Eigenschink created this delightful Varied Vases card for our Too Cool Team swap. I'm loving the colors and white-on-white background that really allow these vases to shine!
Very Pretty Vases—Darla stamped each of the outline vase styles in Memento Tuxedo Black ink along the right bottom of a 4-1/4" x 3" piece of Whisper White. She then stamped the coordinating patterned vase images in either Coastal Cabana or Blueberry Bushel.
Fabulous Flowers—Darla used a sticky note as a mask over the vases to stamp the flowers, so that the stems do not show. She stamped the matching two-step solid images inside each flower. The first one is inked in Grapefruit Grove, the tulips are stamped in Lovely Lipstick with the second one stamped without re-inking, and the last one is inked with Pineapple Punch.
Background Basics—The stamped layer is adhered to a 4-3/8" x 3" piece of Blueberry Bushel cardstock with SNAIL, then popped up onto a 4-1/2" x 3/18" piece of Coastal Cabana with Dimensionals. The whole focal point is mounted onto the center of a Thick Whisper White card base with SNAIL adhesive.
Sweet Sentiment—The Varied Vases greeting was stamped in Blueberry Bushel ink onto Whisper White, then punched with the Classic Label Punch. Darla punched a second Classic Label shape from Coastal Cabana cardstock, cut it in half and adhered the two halves to the sides of the sentiment for some peeking-out color. It's popped up with Dimensionals.

Varied Vases Trio Hello Note Card
Ruth Bingle had a similar trio of vases on her note card, but instead of stamping the vases, she punched out the vase shapes using the Vase Builder Punch. I love the versatility of adding the punch for either the vases or the flowers! Too cool!
Beautiful Blooms—Ruth used the handy Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes for her project. She stamped the scalloped shelf outline in Memento Black first, then stamped the Call Me Clover solid scallop image over the top for a foundation for the vases. Next, she stamped the Varied Vases flower outlines onto the card front and added coordinating blooms in Blueberry Bushel, Grapefruit Grove and Lovely Lipstick.
Punched Vases—The vases were punched with the Vase Builder Punch from the new 6×6" In Color Designer Series Papers. She finished up with a "hello" greeting in Memento Black at the top of the card.
