Gather Together Pretty Peacock Cards
I always look forward to stamping fall cards because it's my favorite time of year. This year, Stampin' Up! has been featuring Pretty Peacock as part of it's autumn color combination. It's a refreshing change and right on trend with colors in the home décor and fashion industries. Plus, I always adore teal tones any time of year!
Background Basics—I paired Pretty Peacock with Pool Party and Pear Pizzazz on this first fall card. I layered a 5-1/2" x 1-1/4" strip of the Come To Gather Designer Series Paper along the bottom of a Pool Party card base to start.
Background Layers—I layered a 4" x 2-3/4" piece of coordinating Come To Gather DSP onto a 4-1/4" x 3" piece of Whisper White. I added a strip of the shimmery Pretty Peacock/Old Olive Reversible Ribbon across the layer, securing the ends on the back, then mounted the layers with Tear & Tape adhesive. .
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Gather Together sentiment in Pretty Peacock onto an Ornate Frames Whisper White die-cut and popped it up over the ribbon with Dimensionals. I added a pretty light blue Holiday Rhinestone Jewel for a little sparkle.
Lovely Leaves—I stamped the Come Together large maple leaf image in Pool Party onto Pool Party cardstock then die-cut it with the Gathered Leaves dies. I added some shiny details by stamping the dotted image in the Silver Delicata Ink onto the leaf. The leaf is adhered with SNAIL and some Dimensionals. The Pear Pizzazz leaf was die-cut and embossed with another die from the set. It's attached with Glue Dots. I added a White Baker's Twine bow, also attached with a pinched Glue Dot.

Two Cool—The second card uses a different Come To Gather DSP pattern along the bottom of a Pretty Peacock card base.
I also tried a different DSP pattern for the focal point background and tied some Mint Macaron Textile Ribbon around the layer. The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso ink.
Leaf Layers—I die-cut the large maple leaf from Pretty Peacock cardstock, then embossed it with the Subtle texture folder. The smaller leaf is in Sahara Sand and topped with a Holiday Rhinestone Jewel.
