I've got a private class coming up tomorrow (*waves to Beth*) and this is one of the awesome cards that we'll be creating! I wanted to try some butterflies in the rich, regal colors from Comfort Café Designer Series Paper. I just love how it turned out, probably because I'm a huge fan of this paper! I'll sure miss it when it's retired at the end of May.

The Midnight Muse card base was partially embossed with the Honeycomb Texture Impressions Folder. See how only about 2/3 of the right side is embossed, and the rest is untextured?
Next, I added a 4-1/4" x 1-1/2" piece of Very Vanilla that's been stamped with a Word Play sentiment in Midnight Muse ink.
Over the top, I adhered a 1" x 5-1/2" piece of the chevron pattern from Comfort Café DSP.
The Bitty Butterfly Punch was used to punch out several more patterns from Comfort Café. They are all popped up with Dimensionals and one is adorned with a Large Rhinestone Jewel.
I'm sorry, but I can not get enough of this delightful little butterfly shape! It doesn't matter what you punch with it, it is ALWAYS too darn cute! Just like Rhinestone Jewels and Pearl Jewels, these butterflies can make any card go from fun to fantastic!
Bottom line: The Bitty Butterfly Punch is a must-have tool for any papercrafter!

Really neat card. Love the sriking contrast between dark background and the butterflies from DP. It will make a wonderful class card…wish I could be there. TFS!
Thanks, Kit! I hope they love it!
