Congratulations To My TCS Softball Team!
I'm so excited to share that the Aboite Girls Softball High School team that I sponsor had a spectacular season! Not only did the Too Cool Stamping team come in 1st place for the season, they also won the tournament last week! Too Cool!
Hustle, Hit & Never Quit—I'm so very proud of all of these girls! They were so much fun to watch because they played their hearts out every single game! They never quit! Case in point…even when they were down 7 runs at the bottom of the 7th (last) inning of their first tournament game, they ending up scoring 8 runs for the victory! It's especially sweet because two of my nieces, Sophie and Abbie, are on the team and my brother-in-law, Colin, is the head coach. That makes each game a super-fun, family event and I'll miss spending my summer evenings at the diamond!
Too, Too, Too…Too Cool!—The girls made up this cheer years ago when I first started sponsoring the team. I love it!
Too Wonderful Team Treat Box—Every year, I pass out a little treat to the team to congratulate them at the end of the season. This year, I purchased some purple treat boxes online and decorated them with team details. I love that the box had gold flowers that were similar to the "two cool" flowers in my logo.
Sweet Sentiment—I decorated the box with a Zany Zoo sentiment stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Highland Heather cardstock and die-cut with an oval from the All That Dies. I layered that onto a Basic Black die-cut label from the same All That Dies. Both are popped up with Dimensionals.
Two Cool Flowers—I die-cut two Gorgeous Grape flowers with the Zany Zoo Dies, attached them with Glue Dots and added gold Brushed Metallic Dots in the centers.
Cool Camouflage—The team's shirts were purple camouflage, so added a little camouflage to the ends for a matching detail! I used the retired Camouflage background stamp (thanks to Marsha & Peggy for getting it to me) in Memento Black ink onto 1-7/8" x 1-7/8" Gorgeous Grape cardstock and layered onto 2" x 2" Basic Black cardstock. It's adhered to the glittery purple box with extra-sticky SEAL+ Adhesive.
Coordinating Treats—I filled the box with some color-coordinated treats: Annie's Organic Chocolate Chip Cookies, M&M's and Dove dark chocolates. I don't know why, but it makes me so happy when I can find treats that match my project! Anyone else who loves matching treats, too?! LOL!
