Petal Passion Floral Blends Birthday Card
If you like to color like I do, this is just your kind of project! The retiring Petal Passion Designer Series Paper on this card is colored with retiring Pink Pirouette, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive Stampin' Blends Markers. The flowers will look great whether they are shaded with the darker Blends color, or not!
Step-By-Step Instructions:
- Fold 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” of Pink Pirouette cardstock in half to create card base.
- Color the 4” x 5-1/4” piece of Petal Passion DSP with Stampin’ Blends Markers.
- Attach a strip of the 3/8” Metallic-Edge Ribbon to left side of the above DSP, adhering the ends in the back.
- Adhere layers to the card front with SNAIL adhesive.
- Stamp the Picture Perfect Birthday sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a 3” x 4” piece of Whisper White card stock.
- Stamp Petal Palette flowers around the greeting, then color the flowers with Blends.
- Cut out the sentiment with the Layering Ovals Framelits, then die-cut a coordinating Pink Pirouette oval using the Stitched Shapes Framelits
- Adhere the oval layers with SNAIL, then mount onto the card front with Dimensionals.
- Add a 3/8” Metallic-Edge Ribbon bow with Mini Glue Dots.

Petal Passion Floral Blends Hello Card
I love the colored Petal Passion DSP framed with Basic Black—so stunning! The sentiment on this card is from the retiring Color Me Happy stamp set, but you could also spell out any word you like with the Labeler Alphabet stamp set for a similar look.
Step-By-Step Instructions:
- Fold the 11” x 4-1/4” Basic Black cardstock in half for the card base.
- Adhere a 3-7/8” x 5-1/8” layer of Whisper White on the card front.
- Color all or just a few of the flowers and leaves on a 3-1/2” x 4-3/4” piece of Petal Passion DSP using Stampin’ Blends Markers: Old Olive for the leaves, Rich Razzleberry & Pink Pirouette for the flowers.
- Coloring Tips: Color the entire area with the light Blends markers, then add a little dark Blends markers for shading and blend with the light color marker in a circular motion.
- Adhere colored layer to a 3-5/8” x 4-7/8” Basic Black mat, then pop with Dimensionals onto card front.
- Stamp the Color Me Happy sentiment in Memento Black on a scrap of white and cut out. Add to the card front using Dimensionals.
- Add a Rhinestone Jewel on each side of the sentiment.
