Cool Treats Happiest Birthday Gift Card Holder Cards
No matter what age or gender, this sweet birthday card is sure to be a hit! Especially a sweet gift card inside! The ice cream cone die-cuts are so yummy and they look delicious with the Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper accents! Cute, cute CUTE!
Background Basics—This foundation of this card begins with a 10-1/2" x 4-1/4" Watermelon Wonder card base, scored along the long side at the 2" and 5-1/4" marks. The first fold will become the gift card holder pocket, so the card's front panel is only 3-1/4" wide.
Card Front Décor—I adhered a 3" x 4" piece of the Tasty Treats DSP to the card front for the background. Next, I stamped the Cool Treats sentiment in Watermelon Wonder ink onto a 3" x 1-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock. I also stamped some confetti in Pearl Pizzazz on each side, then adhered it to a 3" x 1-1/2' layer of Watermelon Wonder. I finished by adding a couple of tiny Sprinkles sequins with a dab of Mulitpurpose Glue.
Sweet Treats—I applied some Tasty Treats Washi Tape along the bottom of a 5" x 4" piece of Whisper White, and stamped a greeting in Early Espresso before adhering to the inside of the card. I used the Frozen Treats Framelits to die cut a Crumb Cake cone and 3 scoops of ice cream from Pool Party, Peekaboo Peach and Watermelon Wonder. The ice cream is popped up with Dimensionals, and topped with an Early Espresso syrup die-cut and a Watermelon Wonder cherry, adhered with Multipurpose Glue. Sweet!
Gift Card Holder—I used the soon-to-retire Decorative Label Punch to punch a little notch out of the edge of the pocket, then I adhered the sides to the card with Tear & Tape Adhesive. I added a 3/4" x 4-1/4" Whisper White Trim piece to the bottom, also decorated with Tasty Treats Washi Tape.
Two Cool—My class kit includes supplies to this version of this gift card holder, this time with a Pear Pizzazz card base. The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso and confetti stamped in Peekaboo Peach.
I used some different Tasty Treats Washi Tape for the accents, too.
