- Add ink to the side of the folder that has the Stampin' Up! logo. I tap it all over the folder, then drag the pad across it to get an even layer of ink.
- Carefully lay the Whisper White cardstock onto the inked side and close the folder without moving the paper.
- Run it through the Big Shot and carefully lift it up to avoid smearing the ink.
- Clean up your folder using a Simply Shammy.
Background Basics—I did the Inked Impressions using Soft Sea Foam ink onto a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White cardstock. I mounted it onto a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Whisper White cardstock using a little bit of Tear & Tape and a little bit of SNAIL Adhesive. It's adhered to a Soft Sea Foam card base.
You can really see how gorgeous this Country Floral background turned out in this photo! I tied a Whisper White 3/8" Classic Weave Ribbon around the entire card front and tied it into a double-knot faux bow (get some tips on how to tie it in the video!).
Sweet Sentiment—I die-cut a pretty Soft Sea Foam label oval using the Wonderful Floral Framelits and stamped a Wonderful Romance greeting in Pear Pizzazz ink. It's popped up with Dimensionals. I decorated the label with a few Frosted Flower Embellishments. I LOVE how the translucent clear flower picks up the color of the background! Lovely!
Two Cool—For my second card, I tried Petal Pink for the inked background. I love how this one turned out. I tried several colors and I seem to like the more pastel colors with this technique, at least when Whisper White is the textured foundation.
I changed the card to horizontal, and changed the card base to Petal Pink, but everything else is the same as the first card.
Sweet Sentiment—I selected a sentiment from the Beauty Abounds stamp set for this version and inked it in Calypso Coral. See how that clear Frosted Flower looks like it's Petal Pink on this card. Sweet!
Are you a fan of the TV Show A Million Little Things? I love it, so I especially love this sentiment for a friend card! Too Cool!
