This sweet card is the last one for me to post from my Country Flowers LIVE Class. I love the layers and lovely colored focal point.

I started by banner cutting the end of a 2″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Country Lace striped Designer Series Paper and adhering it onto the front of a Pool Party card base. Next, I mounted a 3-1/4″ x 3-3/4″ piece of blue eyelet patterned Country Lace DSP to a 3-1/2″ x 4″ piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock. It’s mounted onto the card front with SEAL Adhesive.

I created a foundation with a Basic White Stylish Shapes large circle die-cut. Next, I stamped the leaves and teapot Country Flowers images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White and colored them with Stampin’ Blends Markers. The leaves are colored with Old Olive Blends. The teapot is colored with Pool Party and Night of Navy. The images are die-cut with the coordinating dies and popped up with Dimensionals.

I stamped the Country Flowers sentiment in Memento Black onto a 3″ x 3/8″ piece of Basic White, trimming the ends a bit to fit better. It’s popped up with Dimensionals. TIP: I used the outer edge of the Dimensionals sheet, or you could use Mini Dimensionals.

I added large and small Smoky Slate Pearls for a shiny accent. Just delightful.

Talk about a Too Cool card! I received this Country Flowers fancy fold card from Betsy Crider in a recent swap and I couldn’t wait to share it with you!

The Misty Moonlight card base measures 11″ x 5-1/2″ and is scored at the 1-3/4″, 3-1/2″, 5-1/4″ and 7″ marks. The panels are accordion folded and the closed dimensionals of the card is 4″ x 5-1/2″.

There is a second pop-out part of the card base that is Gray Granite measuring 6-1/2″ x 3-1/4″, scored at the 3-1/4″ mark. This part of the card is adhered to the folded front by attaching about 1-1/4″ of the ends to the front panel and the fourth panel, situated so that it pops out when the card is opened. This focal point will also fold to cover the inside square.

Betsy decorated the front with a 3″ x 3″ piece of Country Lace DSP and tied some White Diagonal Trim around the card front.

I love the simplicity of Betsy’s focal point, but she added some unexpecting details, too. She first stamped the Country Flowers jug in Gray Granite onto Gray Granite cardstock, die-cut it with the Country Flowers Dies and popped it up. Looking at it more closely, Betsy may have added some Gray Granite ink to this element, too.

For the flowers, it looks like she used Blending Brushes to add some Boho Blue color to Basic White cardstock, stamped the flowers on the soft blue color, then die-cut and popped it with Dimensionals.

Betsy stamped the Country Flowers sentiment in Misty Moonlight onto Gray Granite, then cut the words apart and adhered them over the flowers. So fun! She finished with a couple of Basic Gray Pearls.

Betsy decorated the inside of the pop-out with the same 3″ x 3″ pattern of DSP, then added some sweet Country Flowers die-cut blooms that were colored the same way with Boho Blue ink and Blending Brushes. Love!

She finished by adding a 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ Gray Granite layer onto the 3-3/4″ x 5-1/4″ Basic White inside layer. Then, she stamped the flowers in Gray Granite on a 3″ x 3″ piece of Basic White, adding some Blending Brushes color and finishing with a Misty Moonlight coordinating sentiment. A simply charming card, Betsy! Thanks for sharing!
