Curvy Christmas Thinking Of You Card
The festive curvy layers on this Curvy Christmas card are so much fun! This stamp set is only available for a limited time, and it coordinates perfectly with the Curvy Dies, which will be in the upcoming Jan-Jun Mini Catalog. You'll want to get all of the products and you'll save 10% when you buy them all in the Quite Curvy Variety Bundle! Here's how to put it together…
Curvy Layered Basics—I started by die-cutting a curvy dotted edge on the bottom of a 5" x 2" piece of Cherry Cobbler Classic Christmas Designer Series Paper using the Curvy Dies. Next, I layered that onto a 5" x 3-1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock that was also die-cut along the bottom edge. I stamped the Curvy Christmas trees image along the Whisper White curve in Shaded Spruce ink.
Those layers are adhered to a 5" x 3-3/4" piece of Sahara Sand, and I stamped the Cherry Cobbler sentiment at the bottom of that layer. Everything is mounted onto a 5-1/8" x 3-7/8" Shaded Spruce cardstock layer.
Finishing Touches—I tied some Whisper White Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon around the curvy layer piece, then popped up the entire thing with Dimensionals onto a Thick Whisper White card base. I finished by adding a Shaded Spruce Holiday Rhinestone next to the sentiment.
Curvy Christmas Thinking of You Card
Here's another similar card idea courtesy of Tracy Jacobs. She simplified the layers and added a bit more stamping.
Curvy Layers—First, Tracy die-cut the bottom of a 5" x 2-3/4" piece of Seaside Spray with the Curvy Dies, then she stamped on the Curvy Christmas trees with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. She added some tiny snowflake images scattered above the trees in Smoky Slate. Love those little flakes! Next, she adhered the layer onto a 5" x 3-3/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy. Finally, she ran the layers through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss using the large Stitched Rectangles die for a nice, finished edge.
Finishing Touches—Tracy finished the card by tying some Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon around the side of the layers, then adhering it to a 5" x 3-3/4" piece of Night of Navy cardstock. It's mounted onto a Smoky Slate card base. So simple and unique!
