Little Model Ava—10 weeks! She is growing so fast! I'm so sad to realize that she's starting to grow out of her first round of clothes. Daffodil Afternoon Card With Belly Band
This fancy card is perfect for someone special! It features the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper that you can earn for FREE with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration. It also coordinates with the Daffodil Daydream Bundle from the Mini Catalog giving it all kinds of creative possibilities!
Background Basics—Begin with a 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock, scored along the 8-1/2" side at the 2-1/8" and 6-3/8" marks. Fold the card base to create a gate-fold. Adhere two 1-7/8" x 5-1/4" pieces of Daffodil Afternoon DSP to the front gates.
Belly Band—Create a belly band with a 1" x 10" piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock by wrapping it around the card and securing the ends with Tear & Tape in the front. Stamp a Special Moments sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a Very Vanilla Stitched So Sweetly die-cut label. Pop up the label onto the belly band with Dimensionals.
Focal Point—Stamp the Daffodil Daydream image in Memenot Black ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock and color with Stampin' Blends Markers in Daffodil Delight and Old Olive. Die-cut with the coordinating Daffodil dies and pop up with more Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—Tie a bow from Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon and adhere with a Glue Dot to the daffodil bunch. Finish by adding a couple of Brushed Brass Butterflies around the sentiment.

Daffodil Afternoon Brightening My Day Card
Mary Anne Grimmer created this beautiful swap card that features the pretty Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper from the Sale-a-Bration promotion.
Background Basics—Mary Anne began with a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Pale Papaya card base and she die-cut a large scallop border with the Scalloped Contours Dies. She also die-cut the same border edge on a 4" x 5-1/2" piece of Just Jade cardstock and mounted that onto the front. Finally, she die-cut the same large scallop edge onto a 3-3/4" x 5-1/4" piece of Daffodil Afternoon DSP and adhered that to the front, too. She adhered a 1" x 5-1/2" coordinating piece of Daffodil Afternoon DSP to the inside of the card, so that it shows along the scallop border side.
Sweet Sentiment—Mary Anne die-cut a Scalloped Contours label in Very Vanilla cardstock and stamped a sentiment from the Special Moments stamp set in Just Jade ink. Did you see this awesome stamp set in the Sale-a-Bration flyer? It's got a huge variety of all-occasions greetings all in one set and you can earn it for FREE with a $100 order thru February! She popped up the label with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—Mary Anne tied a knot in some Just Jade & Gold Braided Ribbon and attached it with a Mini Glue Dot. She finished by adding some Brushed Brass Butterflies fluttering around the greeting. So pretty and so simple to create!
