Changes Coming May 6; Sooner As Colors Sell Out
Here’s What You Need To Know
8-1/2″ x 11″ Cardstock Updates
- 24-Sheet Packages—Beginning with the NEW 2025-2026 Annual Catalog release on May 6, 2025, all cardstock will be offered in 24-sheet single color packages, including Basic White, Very Vanilla and Basic Black.
- Cardstock Assortments—All color family 8-1/2″ x 11″ assortments will be 20-sheets.
- Price Increase—All packages of single-color cardstock will be $14 per pack beginning May 6.
- Basic White Has Already Changed—Basic White has sold out of the 40-sheet package. It is now available in the 24-sheet package at the $14 price. Other colors will transition before May 6 as the current packaging sells out.
- Basic White Thick—You may have heard rumors that this would no longer be available, but it WILL be available going forward as an Online Exclusive product. It will be packaged in 24-sheets and the cost will be $17. (Right now it is only $11.25, so I would stock up!)
12″x12″ Cardstock Updates
- Dyed Cardstock—Price increase to $22. Offered in single colors only; no assortments.
- Two-Toned Cardstock—Will be offered in single-color packages in all colors. Limited assortment packages that coordinate with suites will be available.
- Basic White Thick—Price increase to $26.

Darling Dinos Roar Means… Cards
The best sentiment in the Darling Dinos stamp set is most certainly the “Roar Means ____ in dinosaur!” It’s so fun to fill in the blank with the perfect phrase for the occasion!
Background Basics
My first card begins with a 2″ x 5-1/2″ strip of Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper adhered to a Calypso Coral card base. Next, I die-cut a Petal Pink Spotlight on Nature circle and popped it up onto the card front with Dimensionals.
Focal Point
I stamped the two Darling Dinos images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White, then colored them in with Stampin’ Blends Markers. The triceratops is colored in Light Gray Granite for the body, Light Old Olive for the spots, Light Calypso Coral for the crest and Light Petal Pink for the horns and toes. The T-rex is colored with Light Crumb Cake for the body, Light Calypso Coral for the spots, Light Old Olive for the tummy and spikes and no color for the claws. I die-cut them with the coordinating Darling Dinos dies and popped them up with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment
I stamped the “roar” sentiment in Memento Black ink onto a Basic Beige Stylish Shapes circle die-cut and popped it up with Dimensionals. I also stamped the “fill in” sentiment in Old Olive ink onto Basic White cardstock and hand-cut it with Paper Snips. It’s attached with SEAL Adhesive.
Finishing Touches
I stamped the Darling Dinos hearts in Calypso Coral ink onto Basic White cardstock and die-cut them with the matching dies. They are popped up with Mini Dimensionals. I finished the card with a couple of Petal Pink Foiled Gems. Adorable!
Two Cool
I actually created this card first…it was my Valentine’s Day card to my 3-year-old Ava, who just loves dinosaurs! She loved it so much that I had a hard time prying it away from her to get a photo!
Background Basics
This time I used some Toadstool Gardens DSP from Sale-a-Bration on the Fresh Freesia card front. The Spotlight on Nature circle is in Pretty In Pink cardstock.
Focal Point
This time, the triceratops has a Light Gray Granite body, Light Melon Mambo spots, Light Fresh Freesia crest and Light Pretty In Pink horns and toes. The T-rex has a Light Crumb Cake body, Light Fresh Freesia spots, Light Granny Apple Green spikes and tummy and no ink on the claws.
Sweet Sentiment
The sentiment circle is cut from Bubble Bath this time and the fill-in phrase is in Melon Mambo ink.
Finishing Touches
I stamped the hearts in Melon Mambo and colored them in with Light Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends Markers. I also added a few Purple Sequins from Sale-a-Bration around the focal point circles.
After I gave the card to my daughter, she said, “Mommy, you forgot the glitter!” Well, duh! I took the card back to my studio and added some Wink of Stella on the hearts, dino crest, spikes and spots and also on the word “roar.” Ahhh…much better. She loved it!
