Hi Stamping Friends!
The Dashing Deer stamp set has hands-down been one of the most popular bundles from the Holiday Catalog so far. I think my favorite part is the awesome Detailed Deer Thinlits dies! Pair those die-cuts with any of the Foil or Glimmer sheets and WOW! Talk about an instant & elegant card!
Today, I'm sharing a couple of Dashing Deer swap cards featuring Copper Foil die-cuts and the beautiful Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper with copper accents. They are pretty simple cards to assemble, but oh…so…lovely!

Marcia's Dashing Deer With Joyous Noel DSP Card
Marcia Gay's swap card shows how beautifully the Merry Merlot/Copper Reversible Ribbon accents the copper deer and Joyous Noel DSP. So pretty!
Background Basics—Marcia layered a 4-1/4" x 3" piece of Joyous Noel DSP onto a 4-1/2" x 3-1/4" piece of Tranquil Tide cardstock. It's mounted onto a card base of Thick Whisper White cardstock.
Sweet Sentiment—Marcia stamped the Dashing Deer sentiment in Tranquil Tide ink onto a 3" x 1-7/8" piece of Whisper White cardstock, then matted it onto a 3" x 1" layer of Tranquil Tide. After tying some of the Reversible Ribbon around the sentiment, it's popped up with Dimensionals.
Dashing Deer—The gorgeous Detailed Deer was die-cut from Copper Foil Sheets using the Detailed Deer Thinlits. I highly recommend using a Precision Base Plate instead of the bottom Cutting Pad for better cutting and an easier release of the die-cut from the die. (See my Smooth Foil Die-Cuts Video) It's adhered to a Whisper White Stitched Shapes oval die-cut and layered onto a Tranquil Tide Layering Ovals scalloped oval mat. Then the focal point was popped up with Dimensionals. Love it!
Bundle It & SAVE—Purchase the Dashing Deer stamp set and Detailed Deer Thinlits together in a bundle to save 10%!

Jennifer's Dashing Deer With Joyous Noel DSP Card
Jennifer Hill's swap card uses many of the same materials as the first card, but is a little different design. I'm loving that Joyous Noel DSP with the Dashing Deer!
Background Basics—Jennifer stamped the Dashing Deer sentiment in Tranquil Tide ink onto the lower right side of a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Gray Granite cardstock. It's mounted onto a Very Vanilla card base. Next, she layered a 1-3/4" x 3-3/4" piece of Joyous Noel DSP onto a 2" x 4" piece of Merry Merlot cardstock.
Dashing Deer & Finishing Touches—This Copper Foil die-cut is popped up over a 2-5/8" square of Whisper White that's been embossed with the Softly Falling Texture Impressions Folder. It's matted onto a 2-7/8" square of Merry Merlot and popped up onto the card front. The card is finished with a few floating Pearl Jewels near the sentiment.
