When you start making your holiday lists and checking them twice, don’t you want to have a cute little, festively decorated note pad? I made this little gift for my team with the Decorative Trees Bundle and Take A Bow Designer Series Paper. It’s easy to do and a perfect little gift for holiday hosts, for neighbors, co-workers and friends, or as table gifts for special events.

I love decorating note pads and journals. You can often find ones that have blank covers that make the perfect canvas for a little papercrafting upgrade! I found these mini note pads with nice kraft-colored covers on Amazon. Here’s a direct link.

I decorated the background of the cover with a 2-3/8″ x 4″ piece of Take A Bow DSP layered onto a 2-3/4″ x 4-3/8″ piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock.

I die-cut a Garden Green tree with the Decorative Trees Dies, then die-cut a Gold Foil swirly patterned tree die-cut, as well. I adhered the Gold Foil piece with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then popped up the entire tree with Dimensionals.

I stamped a Decorative Trees sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink onto a 2-3/4″ x 3/8″ piece of Basic White and attached it to the bottom of the tree with SEAL Adhesive.

I colored some small Rhinestone Jewels with a Dark Stampin’ Blends Markers and added them to the tree to look like ornaments or lights. I finished by tying a bow in Cherry Cobbler & Gold Satin Ribbon and attaching it with a Glue Dot. Simple and so sweet! I’ll be mass-producing these for lots of little gifts and stocking stuffers.
