Delightful Daisy Matchbook Sticky Note Holders
I enjoy making these fast, fun & functional little note holders! What a sweet little gift to give a neighbor, friend, co-worker or college student!
Matchbook Instructions
- Start with a 8-1/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Night of Navy card stock.
- Using the Simply Scored Tool, score along the 8-1/4" side at the 3-1/4", 3-1/2" and 7-1/4" marks and fold on all of the lines with Bone Folder.
- Staple the bottom 1" flap with two staples about 1/8" up from the fold line with a mini stapler.
- Decorate!
Matchbook Décor—I decorated the front cover with a 3" square piece of the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper. I added a strip of Night of Navy washi tape from the new Basics Pack 3 Washi Tape around the bottom flap to cover the staples.
Have you seen the new Basics Packs of washi tape! There are three packs; one with pinks, one with yellows & greens and one with blues. They make it easy to find a tape that will color coordinate with just about any project! Sweet!
I adhered a 1/2 pack of 3×3" Post-It Notes on the inside with one strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive at the top. I finished by tying some Daffodil Delight 1/4" Double-Stitched Ribbon around the bottom flap (do this with the sticky notes already inside).
Delightful Daisy—I stamped the daisy from the Daisy Delight stamp set in Daffodil Delight two times onto Whisper White, then punched them out with the Daisy Punch. On one of the daisies, I stamped the solid flower center in Daffodil Delight ink. I curved the petals with the help of a Bone Folder, then attached the two flowers to the front with Glue Dots. The center of the flower has a new Gold Faceted Gem.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the greeting from Wood Words in Night of Navy ink onto Whisper White card stock. It's die-cut with the Bunch of Banners Framelits and popped up with Dimensionals.
Two Cool—My second version has a Wisteria Wonder matchbook base and another pretty pattern of Delightful Daisy DSP. I used the same Night of Navy Washi Tape to cover the staple. The ribbon is Soft Sky 3/8" Classic Weave Ribbon this time.
Delightful Daisy—This time, I stamped the flower in Peekaboo Peach and added a silver Faceted Gem.
My aqua sticky notes look great with this color combo! Too Cool!
