Programming Note: There was no LIVE Class this Thursday, July 1. I'll be taking some time off for a stay-cation thru July 11, but I'll still be answering email and am available if you have a "stampin' emergency." I'll still be sharing projects on my blog and I plan to have either a LIVE Class or video class posted on July 8.

Monika Davis created this pretty card that uses lots of little scraps of Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper to create a background! What a fun way to feature all those beautiful patterns!
Background Basics—Monika began by embossing a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Mossy Meadow with the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder. Then, she added a variety of Beauty of the Earth DSP to the background, with 7 alternating strips that measure either 3/4" x 2" or 1/2" x 2". It's a fantastic way to use up those tiny leftover scraps!
Next, she die-cut a tree silhouette using the Beautiful Trees Dies and Crumb Cake cardstock. It's adhered to the card front using Liquid Multipurpose Glue.
Terrific Tag—Monika die-cut a cool tag shape with the Tailored Tags Dies, then stamped a sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set. She also die-cut a little round Mossy Meadow reinforcer to add to the tag hole. Next, she used some linen thread from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack to wrap around the card front and tie through the tag hole. The whole layer was then mounted onto the Mossy Meadow card base. What a fun card for fall or any time of year!

Beauty of Friendship Tree Trio Card
Kim Peck sent me this lovely swap card, also featuring that pretty Beauty of the Earth DSP.
Terrific Background Trees—Kim began by stamping a Beauty of Friendship sentiment in Old Olive along the bottom right of a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock. Next she stamped two of the silhouette trees in Soft Suede ink above the sentiment. She also added a little strip of land image that will become the base of the focal point tree in Old Olive ink between the two stamped trees.
Sparkle & Shine—Kim tied the Fine Art Floral Ribbon around the stamped layer into a double-knot, then mounted the layer onto an Old Olive card base. She added some Gilded Gems around the trees, as well.
Fabulous Focal Point—Kim stamped a third tree image onto Soft Suede cardstock, then die-cut the shape and popped it up onto the card front with Dimensionals., She used the same Beautiful Trees Dies to die-cut the foliage for the tree from the Beauty of the Earth DSP and adhered that over the top. Pretty, pretty pretty!
