Dino Days You're Rawr-Some Card
It seems like Stampin' Up! has really upped their game lately when it comes to coordinating. For example, I love how the Dino Dies in the Dinoroar Suite die-cut both the stamped images AND several images from the coordinating Dinoroar Designer Series Paper. Today's swap cards feature an example of both.
Background Basics—Tammy started by adhering a 5" x 3-3/4" piece of the Dinoroar DSP to a 5-1/4" x 4" layer of Pretty Peacock cardstock. It's mounted onto a Flirty Flamingo card base.
Sweet Sentiment—The focal point banner layers are created with the Stitched Nested Label dies. The larger label is Lovely Lipstick, while the smaller label is Whisper White and stamped with the Dino Days sentiment in Flirty Flamingo ink. Both are adhered together with SNAIL, then trimmed flush on the top. I love this unique way to layer these shapes!
Before popping up the banner onto the card front, Tammy tied on some classic 3/8" Denim Ribbon.
Dashing Dino—Megan stamped the dinosaur in Pool Party ink onto Whisper White cardstock, added some spots in Pretty Peacock ink and die-cut him with the coordinating Dino Dies. He's popped up with Dimensionals. He is adorable!
Swap card created by Lynn Feldkamp.
Dinoroar You're Rawr-Some Card
Lynn's swap card featured a similar dinosaur, but this time, it's a dinosaur from the Dinoroar DSP and it's die-cut with the Dino Dies! The pre-printed version is easy-peasy and has lots of colorful details.
Background Basics—Lynn adhered a 3-3/4" x 2-3/4" piece of Dinoroar DSP to a 4" x 3" layer of Pool Party cardstock, then mounted it onto a Thick Whisper White card base. She added a 4-1/4" strip of the Whisper White Flax Ribbon across the top of the DSP with Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Sweet Sentiment—The Dino Days sentiment was stamped in Pool Party ink onto Whisper White, then die-cut with the Stitched Nested Labels dies. It's layered onto the next largest die shape in Pool Party cardstock. Both layers are adhered with SNAIL.
Finishing Touches—Lynn die-cut the dinosaur from the DSP with the Dino Dies, then added a few Melon Mambo Glitter Enamel Dots. So sweet!
