The Dove of Hope bundle is so lovely on this classic "Joy Fold" style card. You can create the Mint Macaron version as part of the LIVE Class Kit.
Card Base Basics—This card starts with a two-piece card base. The first one is a 8-3/4" x 4-1/4" piece of Mint Macaron, scored at the 5-1/2" mark. I actually started with a 4-1/4" x 11" half sheet and cut it down. I cut the leftover piece down to a 2-1/4" x 4" piece, embossed it with the Subtle Embossing Folder and adhered it to the inside of the card (the part that will show next to the shortened front panel). The second part of the card base is a 8-1/2" x 3" piece of Mint Macaron, scored at the 4-1/4" mark and adhered to the center of the inside of the card opening in the opposite direction.
Decorating The Card Base—I adhered a 3" x 4" piece of retiring Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper onto the shortened card front. I adhered a 4" x 2-3/4" piece of Snowflake Splendor DSP on the front of the Joy fold card.
Dove Details—I stamped the Dove of Hope bird and branch images in Smoky Slate ink onto Whisper White and die-cut them with the coordinating dies from the Detailed Dove dies. I colored the branch Stampin' Blends Markers: Mint Macaron light for the leaves and Smoky Slate light for the berries. The branch is adhered with SEAL onto the card front. I popped the dove up with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Dove of Hope sentiment in Smoky Slate ink onto Whisper White and die-cut it with the Tasteful Labels dies. It's popped up onto the card front, too. I finished by adding a few Rhinestone Jewels around the images.
Inside the Joy Fold—I stamped a Dove of Hope sentiment and another branch on a 4" x 2-3/4" piece of Whisper White and mounted it inside the card.
Two Cool—The second version begins with a Night of Navy card base and joy fold. I added the same Feels Like Frost DSP, but selected a different pattern of Snowflake Splendor DSP for the front flap.
This time the dove and sentiment are stamped in Misty Moonlight ink. The Smoky Slate branch is colored in with light Seaside Spray and light Misty Moonlight Blends.
Inside—I selected a different Dove of Hope sentiment that completes the phrase on the front. Sweet & simple!
