Dove of Hope Peace on Earth Cards
Peace, hope and joy are the perfect holiday sentiments for the year we've been experiencing. And these cards are so sweet and quick to mass-produce, so it's a perfect design for your holiday cards! You can see how to create these cards on my Dove of Hope LIVE Class Replay video posted above.

Background Basics—One of the things I like most about this card design is that the background can be created with 1" leftover scraps of any Designer Series Paper you may have!  I selected three patterns from the Heartwarming Hugs DSP, but them to 1" x 4-1/2" and adhered them to a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Whisper White. That layer is mounted onto a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Real Red cardstock.

I tied some Real Red Braided Linen Trim around the background into a double-knot and frayed the ends. It's mounted onto a Mossy Meadow card base.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped a Dove of Hope sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink onto a large Whisper White Stitched Shapes circle die-cut. Just above it, I stamped the branch in Pear Pizzazz ink. I colored in the leaves with light Old Olive Stampin' Blends Markers and the berries with light Real Red Blends. The circle is popped up with Dimensionals.

Delightful Dove—I stamped the Dove of Hope dove image in Mossy Meadow ink onto a scrap of Whisper White and colored in the leaves and berries with the same Stampin' Blends Markers. I also added some very light shading on the dove with light Gray Granite Blends. I die-cut the dove with the Detailed Dove dies and popped it up with more Dimensionals.

Finishing Touches—I finished with a few Rhinestone Jewels floating around the sentiment.

Two Cool—I created a second version featuring strips from the Brightly Gleaming DSP. This time the background is mounted onto Night of Navy.

I tied this one with the natural Braided Linen Trim and I love how that looks with these cooler colors.

Dove Circle—This version has a Pretty Peacock sentiment and Mossy Meadow branch, colored with Mossy Meadow and Pretty Peacock Blends. The dove is stamped in Night of Navy ink. I finished with a few Night of Navy jewels from the Holiday Rhinestones pack.

I loved both of these cards so much that BOTH of them will be featured in my Dove of Hope 5-Card LIVE Class Kit! Details on earning that kit for FREE is listed above by the replay video.
