Thankful Grateful Painted Autumn Card

The beautiful painted watercolor patterns on the Painted Autumn Designer Series Papers have been a popular choice for fall projects this year!  There is still plenty of time to create Thanksgiving cards, table favors and "thankful" themed décor with this awesome paper!  I especially love the sunflower pattern that works equally well for a background pattern and pretty focal point!

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Fold card base in half and adhere the sunflower Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper (5-1/2” x 4-1/4”) to the front with SNAIL adhesive.
  2. Stamp sentiment in Early Espresso ink onto 3-3/4” x 2-3/4” orange/yellow Painted Autumn DSP piece and adhere to the Early Espresso CS layer. Pop up with Dimensionals and attach to the front of the card.
  3. Cut out one sunflower from a scrap piece of the Painted Autumn DSP using your Paper Snips.
  4. Punch two leaves in the Old Olive CS using your leaf punch.
  5. Adhere the sunflower and leaves to the card using SNAIL adhesive.
  6. Add three gold metallic shapes to finish off your card.

Oh So Eclectic Hello Friend Card

The unique & colorful papers from the Naturally Eclectic DSP create awesome backgrounds for any time of year!  I love the stripes peeking through the intricate die-cut—it reminds me of a stained glass window!  Plus, the Oh So Eclectic flowers would be fabulous images to color with the NEW Stampin' Blends Markers…coming out on November 1, 2017!

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Fold Whisper White card stock in half to create card base.
  2. Die-cut the Whisper White card stock with the Eclectic Layers Thinlits using the Big Shot and Precision Base Plate.
  3. Stamp “Oh, Hello Friend” Oh So Eclectic greeting with Fresh Fig ink onto upper right hand corner of White piece.
  4. Adhere a 2-1/4” x 4-7/8” piece of Naturally Eclectic DSP behind the die-cut.
  5. Tie Fresh Fig ribbon around base with a bow. Pop up with Dimensionals
  6. Stamp the large flower and the flower with the stem images onto scraps of Whisper White card stock with Archival Basic Black ink. Let dry for a minute or two. Use the Aqua Painter and inks to watercolor the two flowers and the stem.  .
  7. Stamp the Leaves with Emerald Envy Ink onto a scrap of White card stock.
  8. Cut these images out with the coordinating Thinlits dies.
  9. Attach the flowers and leaves onto card front with Dimensionals.
