Last Call For Earthen Textures Class Kit!
Today I’m sharing the forth pair of cards from the beautiful Earthen Textures Class Kit. It’s the final day to earn that kit with your qualifying order.
In case you missed it…the September-December Mini Catalog is here and items are flying off the shelves! There are about a dozen items that are already temporarily sold out…but they will be back!
Paper Share Update
Several of the papers are already sold out, so I’m trying to make adjustments as best as I can. I’m hoping that I can still accommodate several Paper Share groups. I will have a better handle on it in the next few days. Here’s what is happening…
- The Glow-In-The-Dark Paper won’t be back until mid-October, so I’m taking out this one sheet and adjusting the Paper Share price to $35.
- The All About Autumn & Shining Brightly papers are expected to come in this week. If I can order those papers, then the current filled groups will be able to continue.
- Oxidized Copper Paper and Winter Meadow are expected in much later. I do have enough of that on hand from my own stash to cover two groups. So, as long as I can get the All About Autumn and Shining Brightly papers this week, I can cover those two additional groups.
I will keep you updated as soon as I know more. If you are already a participant, I will email you directly with any changes.
The Next LIVE Class…
The next LIVE Class that I am working on features Autumn Leaves and the beautiful, and sold out, All About Autumn Designer Series Paper. I’m waiting to see if I can get enough of the DSP to cover the class kits before I do my LIVE video. If the All About Autumn DSP sells out too quickly, I may need to adjust my class projects. I’ll let you know early this week more about the timing.

Earthen Textures Gate-Fold Cards
I created a fun gate-fold card for the fourth pair of cards from my Earthen Textures LIVE Class. Like all of the cards from this class, I had lots of fun decorating the pots and filling them with fun sprigs and twigs!
Background Basics
The gate-fold begins with a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ piece of Early Espresso cardstock, scored at the 2-1/8″ and 6-3/8″ marks. TIP: To prevent gaps or overlaps on your gate, remember to line up the two ends flush before using your Bone Folder to create them into place.
Next, embosed a 1-7/8″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Early Espresso cardstock with the Exposed Brick Folder and adhered it to the left front panel. The right panel is decorated with a 1-7/8″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper.
Focal Point
I created a foundation for the pots by adhering a 2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ piece of Very Vanilla cardstock to a 2-7/8″ x 3-7/8″ piece of Gray Granite cardstock. It’s mounted onto the left front gate with some Dimensionals.
Pretty Pots
I die-cut a tall Pebbled Path pot and a small Copper Clay pot. The tall one was stamped with an Earthen Textures texture in Pebbled Path ink and the small pot was stamped with a coordinating texture, also in Pebbled Path ink. I trimmed the tall pot down a bit to fit the tall foliage.
I die-cut a large Copper Clay fan leaf with the Earthen Textures Dies, gently curving each petal of the fan at the score line for more dimension. I stamped an Earthen Textures branch in Petal Pink ink and another in Early Espresso ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock. Both were then die-cut with the Earthen Textures Dies. I adhered the sprigs into position behind the pots, then mounted the small pot with SEAL and the tall pot with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches
I stamped the Earthen Textures sentiment in Early Espresso onto a 2″ x 1″ piece of Petal Pink cardstock and popped it up. I finished with a white Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins on each pot! I love it!
Two Cool
This gate-fold card begins with a Night of Navy card base and front textured panel. The right side is decorated with a pattern from the Countryside Inn DSP.
Focal Point
The foundation panel is Basic White onto Boho Blue. The tall pot is Boho Blue with Misty Moonlight stamped texture. The small pot is Misty Moonlight with Misty Moonlight texture stamped on it.
The fan leaf is also in Misty Moonlight and the sprig for the tall pot is stamped in Boho Blue. The small pot has a branch stamped in Night of Navy.
Finishing Touches
The sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy ink. I added a few Misty Moonlight Tinsel Gems from the three-pack. So pretty!
