Easter Bunny Window Treat Bag

Bunny Window treat bag (2)   Bunny Window treat bag - tail view (2)

I've seen many different kinds of baskets and boxes decorated to look like an Easter Bunny with punches, so I thought I'd try modifying one of my favorite treat holders: Peek-A-Boo Treat Bag.  I have the basic project instructions at that link, but I'll tell you how I modified it.

I used the large 1-3/4" Circle Punch for the window, instead of the smaller 1-1/4" one, to allow you to see the yummy Reese's Eggs inside the Cello Bag.  Then I punched out the pieces of the bunny and sponged the edges with Pretty In Pink Classic Ink. I used a Basic Black marker to add the face details and the Uniball White Gel Pen to highlight the eyes.

Rather than have the ribbon pull through to the front and create a peek-a-boo window, it pulls toward the back.  Pull his bow tie and the bag opens.  Pull the Happy Easter sentiment on the back and the bag closes.  And, did you notice that I put a little tail on the back, too?!  I wish I would have had a little white pom pom to put on it—that would have been perfect!
