Hi Stamping Friends!

I've got a quick & easy card today that requires absolutely no stamping!  It's been one of my favorites this season…at least so far!

We created this card at my Last Thursdays card class and they loved it, too!  It's a clean and classy look, and it takes very little time to assemble.  Plus, it's a fantastic way to use up those extra little scraps from your favorite holiday papers!

CASEd from Amy O'Neill at Amy's Paper Crafts.

Casd Base—The vertically folded card base is Baked Brown Sugar. I cut out another 4" x 5-1/4" layer of Baked Brown Sugar card stock and embossed it with the Stylish Stripes Texture Impressions Folder.  Don't adhere it right away, because you want to add the ribbon around it first.

Banners—I used 3/4" x 3-1/2" strips of Season of Style Designer Series Paper for the banners, each fish-tail punched with the corner of a 1" Square Punch.

Trimmings—Once the banners were adhered to the embossed piece, I wrapped some 3/8" White Taffeta Ribbon around the piece and tied into a knotted faux bow.

Merry Thinlit—I die-cut the Gold Foil "Merry" with the Expressions Thinlits die.  TIP #1: You'll definitely want to use wax paper between the foil and the die for this intricate die-cut to help it release from the Thinlit better.  TIP #2: I also added card stock shim to my Big Shot sandwich and ran the die back and forth through the machine about 3 times to ensure a really good cut. TIP #3: The more cut up your cutting pad is, the more likely that you'll see some cut marks show up in the form of texture on your delicate Goil Foil.

I adhered the word with some dots of Multipurpose Glue at all of the intersections of the lines.

Here's another horizontal version with a Perfect Polka Dot textured background.

I used the same measurements for the banners: 3/4" x 3-1/2".
