Elegant Copper Dashing Deer Cards
It just occurred to me that "dashing" describes this card in two ways: it's both dashing in its elegance and the deer is dashing across the card! Either way, you're going to love the gorgeous accents on this Dashing Deer Class-To-Go Kit card! We'll be creating 4 each of this design. It's quick & easy to assemble, focusing on the Detailed Deer Thinlits with only a touch of stamping.
Background Basics—I began by adding a 2" x 5-1/2" piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock along the left side of a Thick Whisper White card base.
Copper Deer—I die-cut the deer from Copper Foil Sheets with the Detailed Deer Thinlits. Because of the intricate die shape and since I was using foil, I recommend cutting it with the help of the Precision Base Plate. It truly makes all the difference in the world! If you have any trouble getting the die-cut out of the die, you can add a piece of wax paper between the foil and the die to help it release. Using a Precision Base Plate will also help eliminate, or at least reduce, the little bumps and indentations you might get from the die holes. I popped the copper deer up with Mini Dimensionals (which happen to be on sale during the World Card Making Day promotion!)
Finishing Touches—I adorned the deer with a little Cherry Cobbler flower embellishment, also die-cut with the Detailed Deer Thinlits. It's topped with a Pearl Jewel.

Sentiment Layer—I stamped the Dashing Deer sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink onto a 2-1/2" x 3/4" piece of Whisper White, then fishtailed the end and popped up with Dimensionals (also on sale)!
Two Cool—My second card uses the same basic elements on a horizontal layout.
Three Cool—I moved the sentiment above the deer on my third card.
Four Cool—For the last version, I went back to the vertical card and tried the de-bossed side of the Swirls & Curls pattern.
Optional—The kit comes with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint and a Stampin' Spritzer, so you could add some glimmer to the background.
