I love the pine tree images from the Evergreen Elegance stamp set! They are perfect for creating beautiful wintry scenes for backgrounds or focal points, like on these two cool cards from my LIVE Class.
Background Basics—I started by adhering a 1" x 5-1/4" strip of Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper down the left side of an Evening Evergreen card base. Next, I embossed a 3" x 5-1/4" piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock with the pine texture from the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder pack. I tied some Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon around the card front into a double-knot for some extra shine and texture.
Forest Focal Point—I stamped the largest Evergreen Elegance pine tree image in Evening Evergreen ink onto a Basic White Stitched Rectangles die-cut. I added the other two sizes of pine trees in stamped-off Soft Succulent ink, then a stamped-off Misty Moonlight shadow at the base of the large tree. The die-cut is popped up with Dimensionals onto a 2-3/8" x 3-3/4" piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock and mounted onto the card front. I finished the focal point with a few Pool Party Holiday Rhinestones. I love how those Holiday Rhinestone colors are very forgiving and match beautifully, even though I didn't use any other Pool Party elements.
Sweet Sentiment—I finished by stamping an Evergreen Elegance sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink onto a Basic White Ornate Frames die-cut. It's popped up with Dimensionals, too.
Two Cool—The second version starts with the same DSP adhered to a Sahara Sand card base. This time, I textured the Sahara Sand background layer with the Bark 3D Embossing Folder…perfectly coordinating with trees!
Forest Focal Point—I stamped the large tree in Evening Evergreen like the first card, but added the medium tree images in stamped-off Misty Moonlight this time. I popped up the layer over a Soft Succulent foundation and accented with the same Pool Party Holiday gems.
Sweet Sentiment—The same sentiment was used on this card, stamped in Evening Evergreen ink. So pretty!
