It's so easy to decorate your card with a pretty pine border with the help of the Evergreen Border Punch. I show how you can use it on the front of the card, but also consider decorating the inside writing area of your card with these tiny trees! It really adds a nice touch!
Background Basics—I adhered a 5-1/2" x 1" strip of the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper along the bottom of a Sahara Sand card base. Remember to stock up now on this delightful holiday paper because it's on sale at 15% off thru August 2.
Forest Focal Point—Next I punched a the trees element from a 4-1/2" x 1-1/2" piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock using the Evergreen Border Punch. I show how to line up the strip on the punch to create the cool, continuous border in my LIVE Class video linked above. I adhered the border onto a 4" x 3" piece of Tidings of Christmas DSP with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then trimmed off the edges flush to the DSP. Then I adhered it to a 4-1/4" x 3-1/4" Cherry Cobbler mat.
After tying some twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack around the layers, I popped them up onto the card front with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—I finished by stamping an Evergreen Elegance sentiment in Evening Evergreen ink onto a 3" x 1" strip of Basic White. I used the Banners Pick A Punch to snip the ends to a point, then popped it up with Dimensionals, too. I finished with a few Rhinestone Jewels.
Two Cool—I only changed a few elements on the second card. The card base is Evening Evergreen and the larger DSP is a different pattern from Tidings of Christmas.
