Today's cards are proof that you don't need a lot of die-cutting and extra layers to create lovely cards! I highlighted the Evergreen Elegance pine trees to stamp a pretty forest in traditional Christmas colors!
Background Basics—I adhered a 2" x 4" piece of the Tidings if Christmas Designer Series Paper along the left side of a Cherry Cobbler card base to start. Next, I stamped the longer sentiment from Evergreen Elegance in Cherry Cobbler ink at the top right of a 4-1/2" x 3-1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock.
Fabulous Forest—I stamped the Evergreen Elegance large pine tree image in Evening Evergreen ink two times on the layer, varying the height. Next, I stamped two of the medium pine tree images in Soft Succulent. I finished by adding the smallest tree in Mint Macaron to fill in the blank spaces. I mounted it onto a 4-5/8" x 3-3/8" piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock and tied some Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon around the layers into a double-knot. I popped up the focal point layers onto the card front with Dimensionals, then added a few Shaded Spruce Holiday Rhinestones above the trees.
Two Cool—My second version was designed with a vertical focal point. I started with a Sahara Sand pattern from the Tidings of Christmas DSP, adhered onto a Sahara Sand card base.
Forest Focal Point—This time, I centered the sentiment, then added a smaller stamped forest below. It's layered onto a Cherry Cobbler mat and once again adorned with the same ribbon and Basic Rhinestone Jewels.
