Everything Is Rosy Front Flap Cards
There are so many different coordinating supplies in the gorgeous Everything is Rosy product medley that it was hard to decide what to create with first! I thought I'd start with some basic stamping with some of the the beautiful, Rose Gold Foil accented Designer Series Papers for the background. You could decorate the whole card front to achieve this look, but these cards are actually "front flap" cards.
Front Flap Card Basics—Rather than a traditional card, this one starts with a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" quarter sheet of Melon Mambo as the base. I adhered a 1" x 5-1/4" strip of Everything is Rosy Melon Mambo floral DSP to each side of the base to create the background. For the front flap part, I cut a 2-1/2" x 11" piece of Melon Mambo cardstock, scored it at the 5-1/2" mark and mounted the folded piece onto the card base with Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Floral Panel—I started by stamping the Everything is Rosy sentiment in Night of Navy onto a 2-1/4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White. Then, I added the Everything is Rosy floral stamping in this order:
- Stamp the large flower in "stamped-off" Melon Mambo 3 times.
- Stamp the smaller flower in Balmy Blue 3 times.
- Stamp the flower centers in Night of Navy "stamped off" onto Balmy Blue flowers.
- Stamp branch image in Night of Navy to fill in the spaces.
Finishing Touches—I added the Everything is Rosy Rose Gold Mirror embellishments to the centers of the larger flowers. I finished by tying some of the Melon Mambo Ruched Ribbon from the medley around the flap.
Inside The Card—I added another 2-1/4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White to the inside of the flap and decorated it with similar stamping to match the front.
Two Cool—My second card starts with a Night of Navy quarter sheet base and is decorated with 1" strips of an elegant Night of Navy pattern from the Everything is Rosy DSP.
Delightful Details—Everything is stamped the same as the first card, just layered onto Night of Navy and tied with the Night of Navy Rose Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon. So pretty!
