I've been playing with the gorgeous Everything Is Rosy Designer Series Papers for a couple of weeks now and it was time to try some different color combinations with the versatile Everything Is Rosy floral stamp set. Why not start by experimenting with a couple of the NEW In Colors?!
Purple Posy & Seaside Spray—I couldn't wait to pair up the NEW Purple Posy and Seaside Spray In Colors with other subtles like Petal Pink and Mint Macaron. Unfortunately, Purple Posy ink is not available for a little while as Stampin' Up! resolves an issue with foaming. So, I discovered a work-around—stamped-off Highland Heather! Woohoo! It looks fabulous!
Floral Stamping—I stamped the 3-3/4" x 5" Whisper White background with Everything Is Rosy images:
- Stamp the large flowers in stamped-off Highland Heather about 5 times.
- Stamp the medium flowers in full-strength Seaside Spray 5-6 times.
- Add small flowers in stamped off Mint Macaron to fill in some of the spaces.
- Add flower center dots image in Highland Heather to large & medium flowers.
- Stamp small flowers cluster in Rose Gold Shimmer Paint to fill in the blank spaces.
TIPS: To stamp with Shimmer Paint, I used a Sponge Dauber to pick up paint from inside the jar cap, then dabbed it onto the stamp. Be sure to clean off the stamp immediately before the paint dries, because it can be difficult to get off the stamp otherwise.
Background Basics—I added a 1" x 5" strip of patterned paper from the NEW Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper along the left side. Next, I added a 3-3/4" x 3/4" strip of Rose Gold Foil from the Everything Is Rosy Product Medley across the bottom as a foundation for the sentiment. I matted the layers to a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of Seaside Spray cardstock. After tying some Gorgeous Grape Mini Striped Ribbon around the layers, I mounted everything onto a Seaside Spray card base using a combination of Tear & Tape and SNAIL Adhesives.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Everything Is Rosy sentiment in Highland Heather in Whisper White, die-cut it with the Stitched Shapes dies and popped it up with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—I finished by adding a few of the soon-to-retire Artisan Pearls in Petal Pink. I think I'll be mourning the loss of those embellishments more than any other retiring product from the Retired List.
Floral Stamping—I love this color combination! I used Lemon Lime Twist for the large flower, Pool Party for the medium flowers and Pretty Peacock for the small flowers and the flower center dots. I stamped the flower cluster in Champagne Shimmer Mist, which gives a very subtle shimmer.
Lovely Layers—I added a strip of Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper along the side and a strip of Champagne Foil Sheets across the bottom. I layered everything onto a Pool Party cardstock layer then tied it with the Lemon Lime Twist Ombré Ribbon. It's mounted onto a Pretty Peacock card base.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the sentiment in Pretty Peacock and finished off the card with some Basic Pearl Jewels.
Three Cool—My Everything Is Rosy Class includes this project using the same card design! I stamped the flowers in stamped off Balmy Blue, Night of Navy & Melon Mambo. The Designer Series Paper, Melon Mambo Ruched Ribbon and pre-printed Rose Gold label all come in the Product Medley mega-bundle! Sweet!
