Because I'm packing, packing, packing for my upcoming move, not much stamping is going on (so sad, isn't it?!)
In the meantime, here are some of the fantastic projects created by my Too Cool Demo Team and shared at our February downline meeting last week. Many of the cards are Valentine's related, but you'll still find some awesome ideas for scrapbook elements, as well as wedding and anniversary cards!
Heck, it's always a good time to give a "love" card to your sweetie!
This was created by Jodi Geers using the En Francais background stamp. I love the White Satin Ribbon ruffle around the heart!
Here's another pretty one by Jodi. This time she's used the Bliss Sale-A-Bration set. Her layered paper flower is Too Cool! She used the Scallop Circle Punch and First Edition DSP for the top layers. She also colored Paper Daisies and even embossed one with the Dot, Dot, Dot pattern.
Other Featured Supplies: Scallop Oval Punch, Scallop Edge Border Punch, Love Letter DSP, Antique Brads.
Love is in the air! Darla Eigenschink used the Love Impressions RubOns for the focal point of this Valentine. RubOns are so fun and easy to use! She did the Scrunchy Ribbon Technique on the Organza Ribbon, and layered that on black punched with the Scallop Edge Border Punch.
Here's another one of Darla's cards featuring the RubOns! I love the Scallop Border edge at the opening on the right!
Other Featured Supplies: White 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Black 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Polka Dot Impressions Folder, Scallop Square Duo Die.
Darla created some Nugget Holders, similar to the ones we saw from Shirley last week. Here is Angie Juda's Hershey Nugget Box Tutorial for making these cute purse boxes! The starburst shape is created with the 5-Petal Flower punch—punch once, rotate and punch again!
Featured Supplies: Corner Rounder Punch, Small Heart punch, Brushed Silver card stock, 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon.
Carmen DeBruce shared this yummy card made with the Eat Chocolate stamp set. Now that is a "To Do List" that I can commit to! I love the Eyelet Border that is layered over the fringe on the left—great idea!
Other Featured Supplies: Silver Brads, 5/8" Early Espresso Grosgrain Ribbon, Love Patterns DSP (retired), Top Note Die.
Michelle Hoover created this beautiful, silvery card with the Be My Valentine stamp. I love how she embossed the words and they are so shiny—perfectly matching the background Brush Silver card stock!
Other Featured Supplies: Top Note Die, Framed Tulips Impressions Folder, 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Love Impressions DSP.
Michelle used White Craft Ink on the Lots of Love Letterpress Plate for this pretty card! What a great look! She also used the popular Scrunchy Ribbon Technique and Fringing!
Other Featured Supplies: Red Satin Ribbon, I {Heart} Hearts, Early Espresso Striped Grograin.
Here's a fun idea from Michelle…use the Game Spinners to creat a Cupid's arrow through the heart. Isn't that cute?!
Other Featured Supplies: Lap of Luxury DSP, Scallop Heart of Hearts, I {Heart} Hearts, Small Heart Punch, Concord Crush Polystitched Ribbon.
Michelle created this double heart Valentine by punching the Red Glimmer Paper with the Full Heart Punch and layering them on the Scallop Heart of Hearts in Basic Black.
Other Featured Supplies: Black Striped Grosgrain, Black 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Love Impressions DSP, Red Satin Ribbon.
Here's another of Michelle's creations with the Full Heart Punch and glittery Red Glimmer Paper accents! My favorite of this card are the Basic Rhinestones she placed between each scallop of the Scallop Trim Border edge.
Other Featured Supplies: Framed Tulips Impressions Folder, Teeny Tiny Wishes, 3/8" White Taffeta Ribbon.
