Hi Stamping Friends!

I'm doing some cleanup of my blogging files and realizing that I still have lots of projects that I never blogged about.  How can that be?!  That sure is a change from just a couple years ago, back when I first started blogging every day, when I was having trouble coming up with enough projects to even talk about.  Now I have so many ideas to share with you I can't even keep up!  It's a fabulous problem, really!

No Teasers!  No Surprises!  I don't know if you've noticed, but I typically enjoy sharing my class projects with you upfront without a lot of teasers and tiny sneak peeks.  That's because I know when I purchase classes, I like to know exactly what I'm spending my money on.  I show you everything because I want you to know exactly what to expect from my classes whenever possible!  It's also because, once I make the projects, I usually can't wait to share the projects RIGHT AWAY—they are TOO COOL not to share!

So somehow, amongst all of my recent projects, I ran out of time to share some of my Festival of Trees Class projects before the class registration deadline.  Here is one of the last projects!

Festival of trees circle - pear

Background Basics—I embossed the 4" x 5-1/4" Whisper White layer with the new On Point Embossing Folder. I love how the raised triangle pattern mimics the shape of the trees.

Sentiment & Ribbon—Before adhering the embossed layer to the Pear Pizzazz card base, I stamped the sentiment in Pear Pizzazz ink.  I wrapped the Lost Lagoon Silky Taffeta Ribbon around the card stock and tied in a double-knot for a faux bow.

Circle Medallion—I created a circle medallion by die-cutting Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White card stock with the Circles Collection Framelits.  They are adhered directly to the card front with SNAIL.

Tree Focal Point—I stamped the Festival of Trees image in Lost Lagoon on scrap Whisper White card stock, then stamped over the top of it with the dotted image in Pear Pizzazz.  The dots line up easily to fill in the ornaments on the tree with coordinating color.  I love that you can see right through these all-clear photopolymer stamps!

Sparkly Accents—I also added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter details with a 2-Way Glue Pen.  And, to top off the tree, I adhered an Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack star punch from the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.

The tree is punched with the matching Tree Punch and it's popped up with Dimensionals.

Bundle It & Save!  Purchase the Festival of Trees stamp set and Tree Punch together in the Festival of Trees Bundle and save 15% off the cost of purchasing the items separately.

I tried a second version with a Whisper White card base instead of Pear Pizzazz.  I really love the design and balance of this one!

Curvy Verses—The flexibility of the photopolymer stamps makes it easy to create fun, curved sentiments and shapes!  I offset my tree on the circle background and stamped the sentiment in a curve along the top.  How fun is that?!
