Hi Stamping Friends!

I've got a couple more cards from my Best of Christmas club kits today!  You can see my first card at yesterday's post

Deco label - two cool

I used the same card elements with two different images from the Best of Christmas set.

All of the "Best of 25 Years" Collector sets
are available through March 31, 2014.

Merry christmas ornament

The first card features the brand-new ornament image that's exclusive to this set and
coordinates with the Christmas Ornament Punch

Background—I started with a Crumb Cake card base, then added a 1" x 5-1/2" strip of paper from the very non-holiday Etcetera Designer Series Paper.  After laying down a line of Sticky Strip, I added Crochet Trim Ribbon over the top.

Merry Ornaments—I stamped and punched two of the ornament images in Raspberry Ripple on Very Vanilla.  I also punched a separate shape from the Old Olive sheet in the Brights Designer Paper Stack and trimmed it down to fit over the top of the words (as much as I like two of things, I didn't want two greetings!).  Linen Thread was used for the ornament strings…and it matches the Crumb cake so nicely!

Both ornaments are adhered to the front of a Very Vanilla die-cut from the Labels Collection Framelits.  I added another Raspberry Ripple layer, but cutting the die-cut in half and positioning them at the top and bottom of the label.  It's adhered to the card front with Dimensionals.

Colored nativity

I used identical elements on the horizontal version, but this time focused on the nativity scene image.

Coloring—This is a great image for coloring, so after stamping it with Black StazOn permanent ink, I did just that.  I used Blender Pens dipped in Classic ink and stuck with the same color combination of Raspberry Ripple, Crumb Cake and Old Olive, just adding some Marina Mist for the clothing and some Blushing Bride for the faces, hands and sheep.

Finishing Touches—This time the Linen Thread was tied around the Labels Framelit die-cut.  I needed a greeting and "Happy Christmas" from More Merry Messages seemed to fit nicely in size and sentiment!
