Fitting Florets Large Oval Wishes & Jolly Cards
Stampin' Up! has once again given us some beautiful Designer Series Papers in the Fitting Florets Collection! And, I love the way they have offered an all-occasion stamps and dies bundle, plus a limited-time-only holiday-themed stamp set, just in time for holiday card making! What an awesome way to increase the versatility of the set. Best of all, the DSP has versatile patterns that can lend themselves to both all-occasion AND holiday, depending on how you dress them up! 
 
In my LIVE Class, I shared how you can use each of the stamp sets with the same layout and turn them into an all-occasion or holiday card, depending on the DSP and colors used. Two Cool!

Background Basics—For my Framed Florets all-occasion card, I started by adhering a 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" piece of Fitting Florets DSP onto a 3-5/8" x 4-7/8" piece of Balmy Blue cardstock. I added a 3-1/2" x 1-3/4" piece of Soft Succulent cardstock across the front, then mounted the layers onto a Night of Navy card base. (Please note: in the class, the Soft Succulent piece measured 3-1/2" x 1-1/2" and that is the size that will be in your kit.)

Lovely Oval—I die-cut a Basic White large oval with the Framed Florets Dies and stamped a Framed Florets sentiment on it in Night of Navy ink. I positioned the sentiment at the top of the oval, leaving plenty of room for he flowers. This layer is popped up with Dimensionals.
 
Fitting Flowers—I die-cut the two Evening Evergreen leaves with the Framed Florets Dies and adhered them with light dabs of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Next, I stamped the two Framed Florets flowers in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White. After letting the images dry completely, I colored the petals in with Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends Markers and the centers with Light Night of Navy Blends. I die-cut them with the Framed Florets Dies and attached them with more Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
 
Festive Finish—I finished with a few Soft Succulent Festive Pearls. Oh how I adore these new embellishments! They include pearls in Soft Succulent, Cherry Cobbler, shiny Gold and shiny Silver…perfect for the holidays! They've been so popular that they are currently sold out, but you can expect them back around November 21.

Two Cool—This second, holiday-themed card will be included in the 10-Card LIVE Class kit. I started with a different Fitting Florets DSP pattern in checked Evening Evergreen. It's layered onto Cherry Cobbler with a 3-1/2" x 1-1/2" piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock across the front. The layers are mounted onto a Soft Succulent card base. I really liked the positioning of the Evergreen layer on this one, so that is how I demonstrated the original card on the LIVE Class video.

Holiday Oval—This time, the sentiment comes from the limited-time Framed & Festive stamp set, inked in Evening Evergreen. I also added a few Framed Florets leaves in stamped-off Soft Succulent ink for a lovely, subtle background detail.

 
Festive Flowers—This time, I added Soft Succulent leaf die-cuts and colored the two flowers in Real Red and Cherry Cobbler Blends.
 
Festive Finish—I used the same Festive Pearls pack, selecting the Cherry Cobbler pearls for the embellishments on this card. Beautiful!
