Kathe's Fall Flourishing Phrases Best Day Card

Kathe created a stunning Flourishing Phrases autumn-themed card with all kinds of textures and layers!

Background Basics—The card begins with a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Chocolate Chip card stock. She stamped the Flourishing Phrases flourish image all over the piece with Early Espresso ink then, before the ink dried, she sprinkled on the Clear Embossing Powder and heat-set it until glossy & smooth with the Heat Tool. She tied Linen Thread around the layer three times before adhering it to the Chocolate Chip card base. The Linen Thread double bow was tied separately and added on with a Glue Dot.

Sweet Sentiment—Kathe stamped the greeting from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set in VersaMark Ink onto Whisper White card stock, then embossed that with Copper Embossing Powder. It was die-cut with the Layering Circles Framelits with the 1-5/8" circle. It's layered on a 2" scalloped circle, also die-cut from the Layering Circles dies, then popped up with Dimensionals.

Flourishing Embellishments—The leaves & flowers are die-cut using the coordinating Flourish Thinlits from Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz card stocks, then tucked under the circle and adhered with Multipurpose Glue. She also die-cut a Copper Foil flower with the same dies, and topped that with a Petite Petals Punch flower in Cajun Craze. Oooh, I love the look of copper die-cuts!

Kathe finished off the card with a few Pearl Jewels. Wow! I'm loving the awesome details!

Carmen's Very Merry Christmas Flourishing Phrases Card

I love Carmen's use of the flower dies from the Flourishing Phrases Bundle for a holiday card in traditional Christmas colors! So pretty!

Background Basics—Carmen embossed a 5" x 3-3/4" piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock with the Boho Chic Texture Impressions Folder, then layered that on a 5-1/4" x 4" Whisper White layer before mounting it on a Garden Green card base.

Sweet Sentiment—She stamped the greeting on the 4-1/4" x 3" piece of Whisper White card stock first so she knew how to position the blossoms around the outer edges. She used the retired Endless Christmas Wishes stamp set, but you could substitute any holiday sentiment.

Holiday Blooms—Next, Carmen stamped the Flourishing Phrases leaves in Garden Green ink around the edges where she planned to add flowers. She die-cut the Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler flowers with the Flourishing Thinlits dies, then adhered them to the card with Glue Dots. The layer is matted onto a 4-1/2" x 3-1/4" piece of Garden Green card stock and popped up.

Finishing Touches—She completed the look by adding some Rhinestone Jewels to the flower centers for a little sparkle! So fun & festive!
