Today, I'm sharing three swap cards that were made with this product medley and they are all so pretty! I love the uniqueness of the cactus theme!

Enjoy creating colorful desert projects with a Southwestern floral feel! The Flowering Cactus Product Medley has everything you need all in one convenient collection! It includes the stamp set, coordinating dies, 48 sheets of 6×6" Designer Series Papers (8 each of 6 double-sided designs), die-cut felt sheets and a linen thread combo pack—WOW! I absolutely adore the color combination of this Flowering Cactus Product Medley! Here, layers of DSP are combined with the stamped images for a sweet Southwestern card!
Background Basics—This card begins with 2" x 4-3/4" and 1-3/4" x 4-1/4" strips of coordinating Flowering Cactus Designer Series Paper adhered to a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Basic White. It's layered onto a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Mint Macaron, then mounted onto a Calypso Coral card base.
Focal Point—The 2-1/4" x 3-12" piece of Basic White is textured on the bottom with one of the Flowering Cactus dies. A Flowering Cactus sentiment is stamped on the top with Highland Heather and the cactus is stamped in Pear Pizzazz.
Finishing Touches—The layer is wrapped and tied with some of the included Linen Thread, then a couple of die-cut felt flowers are added with Multipurpose Glue. Love those details!
Flowering Cactus Gate-Fold Card
I'm not sure who created this swap card, but it is made with lots of love and lots of detail!
Background Basics—This gate-fold card begins with a traditional 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Soft Sea Foam card base, scored at the 2-1/8" and 6-3/8" marks. The front panels are decorated with 1-3/4" x 5" pieces of Flowering Cactus DSP, layered onto 1-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Calypso Coral. The Basic White Stitched So Sweetly scallop rectangle die-cut is colored with a Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends Marker for a little shadowing.
Flowering Focal Point—The cactus and flower images are die-cut directly from the DSP and popped up. Then a couple of felt flowers are added with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Sweet Sentiment—The greeting was stamped in Calypso Coral onto Basic White, then punched with the Double Oval Punch. A Terracotta Tile scallop oval was punched out as well, layered behind the sentiment and adhered to the card front. It's finished with a Calypso Coral Linen Thread bow, attached with a Glue Dot.
Inside The Card—The desert scene is continued on the inside with a coordinating sentiment punched with the Double Oval Punch. One cactus is die-cut from Mossy Meadow cardstock, and the other is die-cut from the DSP. A little free-form Crumb Cake cardstock was cut to represent the sandy landscape. How cool!
Flowering Cactus Rare Find Sunset Card
Katherine Anderson created this desert beauty! Isn't it stunning?!
Background Basics—Katherine's card begins with a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock mounted to a Mossy Meadow card base. Next, she used the Blending Brushes to add Calypso Coral and Bumblebee ink color to a 4" x 3-3/4" piece of Basic White to represent a sunset. It's adhered over the top of the Pear Pizzazz layer. Next, she die-cut a Layering Circles Dies window and a couple of Flowering Cactus shapes into a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Crumb Cake cardstock. After embossing the layer with the Painted Texture Embossing Folder, she popped it up onto the card front with lots of Dimensionals. I love how the colors show through the holes!
Flowering Cactus—Katherine combined Mossy Meadow and Old Olive cactus die-cuts with a DSP cactus die-cut for a fun focal point! She added a Mossy Meadow sentiment onto a 2-1/4" x 3/8" strip of Basic White and attached a few felt flowers, too. So pretty!
