Flowering Foils & So Very Vellum Thanks Cards
This is a quick & sweet no-stamp card that combines two of my favorite 2nd Release selections: Flowering Foils & So Very Vellum Designer Series Papers!
Background Basics—Pool Party and Mint Macaron inks are very close in color and I love how they look combined here in a lovely monochromatic card. I started with a Pool Party card base.
I colored a 3-1/4" x 2-1/2" piece of the floral Flowering Foils DSP with Dark Pool Party Stampin' Blends Markers for the blooms and Dark Mint Macaron Blends for the leaves. It's mounted onto the top of a 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock.
I added a 3-1/2" x 2" piece of Pool Party So Very Vellum on the bottom of the Whisper White. Then I tied some Mint Macaron Sheer Linen Ribbon ribbon around the layers before popping them up with Dimensionals onto the card front.
Sweet Sentiment—Instead of stamping a sentiment, I die-cut one from Copper Foil using the Well Written dies and adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The copper matches the rose gold accents from the paper really well. I added a single Basic Rhinestone to pick up the silver foil accents. Done…so quick!

Two Cool—The second card was my inspiration for the first card. I received this swap card from Ruth Bingle.
The Flowering Foils piece measures 4" x 2" and Ruth colored only the blooms with Mint Macaron Blends. She adhered that piece, along with a 4" x 2" piece of Pool Party So Very Vellum, onto a 4" x 5-1/4" background of Whisper White cardstock. She added the ribbon around the layers before mounting it onto the card base. Her sentiment is die-cut from Silver Foil and adorned with several Rhinestones. Love it!
