Flowering Rain Boots Easel Cards
I couldn't wait to share these cute Flowering Rain Boots Easel Cards ideas by Candy Ford. They are perfect for this time of year!
Easel Fold Card Base—The card base is in two parts. The first part is a 4-1/4" x 11" piece of Pool Party card stock, scored at the 2-3/4" and 5-1/2" marks. The second is a piece of 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Pool Party. Fold up the larger card base toward the inside of the card, then adhere the smaller piece onto the bottom panel of the card front. This will create the easel card when propped up and will fold down flat for mailing.
Background Basics—Layer a 3-5/8" x 4-7/8" piece of Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper onto a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Blushing Bride. Mount onto the easel card front.
Focal Point Background—Emboss a 2-1/2" x 3-5/8" piece of Basic White with the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder. Layer onto a 2-5/8" x 3-3/4" piece of Pool Party cardstock. Die cut a Blushing Bride Stitched So Sweetly label, adhere the layers onto it and mount it to the easel card front.
Focal Point—Stamp the Flowering Rain Boots flowers in Flirty Flamingo ink and watering can in Pool Party ink onto Basic White cardstock. Die cut with the corresponding Rain Boots Dies and adhere to the card. Die cut two rakes, one in Pool Party and one in Smoky Slate. Trim off the Pool Party handle and adhere it to the Smoky Slate rack with Liquid Multipurpose Glue. Add to the card with more glue.
Sentiment "Kickstand"—Stamp a Flowering Rain Boots sentiment in Flirty Flamingo onto a Basic White Stitched Rectangles die-cut label. Layer a 3-5/8" x 1-5/8" piece of DSP onto a 3-3/4" x 1-3/4" piece of Blushing Bride. Add sentiment layer, then pop up it all up with Dimensionals onto the inside of the card to create the "kickstand" for the easel.
Two Cool—The second version is very similar with only a few changes. It keeps the Pool Party card base, but switches to the Pattern Party DSP from the Host Reward selections. This time Pale Papaya is used as the accent color for the layers and sentiment.
Focal Point—The background is not embossed this time. The tulips are stamped in Pale Papaya, the stems in Granny Apple Green and the boots in Pool Party. It's finished with a few Pearl Jewels that were colored with a Dark Stampin' Blends Marker. So Sweet!
