Countdown To Christmas Classes Update: I know that many of you have expressed an interest in my annual Countdown To Christmas class series and are wondering about it. I've made the difficult decision to not offer the Countdown To Christmas series this year. My sweet Ava is 10-months old tomorrow and I'm focusing my energies on her right now. Fond of autumn minimal acorns - two cool
Fond of Autumn Minimal Acorns Cards
I used the large Fond of Autumn stamp for most of the class cards, but this pair of cards simply uses the two small individual fall images: acorn and oak leaf. I love the "white-on-white" background with lots of shiny trim on this card.
 
Fond of autumn minimal acorns - vanilla
 
Background Basics—I started by embossing a 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" piece of Very Vanilla cardstock with the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder and mounted it onto a 3-5/8" x 4-7/8" piece of Soft Suede cardstock. I tied the layers with some Natural Woven Ribbon.
 
Next, I adhered a 4-1/4" x 1-1/2" piece of Brushed Metallic Cardstock across the front of a Thick Very Vanilla card base. The embossed background layers are mounted onto the card front with SEAL Adhesive.

Focal Point—I stamped the oak leaves and acorns in Soft Suede ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock and die-cut them with the coordinating Autumn Bouquet dies. The oak leaves were colored with Dark Daffodil Delight and Light Cajun Craze and the acorns with Light Crumb Cake and Bronze. I layered a 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" piece of Very Vanilla onto a 1-5/8" x 1-5/8" piece of Brushed Metallic cardstock, then adhered it to the card front. I adhered the oak leaves on that square with SEAL, then popped up the acorns with Dimensionals.
 
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Fond of Autumn sentiment in Early Espresso ink onto a 2" x 3/8" piece of Very Vanilla, fishtail cut the ends and popped it up with Dimensionals. I finished with a few Champagne Rhinestones.

Background Basics—I replicated the same layout in a horizontal orientation on this card using a Soft Sea Foam card base with a 5-1/2" x 1-1/2" piece of Silver Foil Specialty paper. The Soft Sea Foam 4-3/4" x 3-1/2" embossed layer is layered onto 4-7/8" x 3-5/8" Basic White and tied with Soft Sea Foam Seam Binding Ribbon.

Focal Point—This time the square is in Basic White and layered onto more Silver Foil Specialty Paper. The leaves and acorns are stamped in Smoky Slate ink, then colored in with Dark Soft Sea Foam and Light Mint Macaron for the leaves and Light Crumb Cake and Bronze for the acorns.
 
Finishing Touches—The sentiment is stamped in Soft Suede onto a 3" x 5/8" piece of Basic White. It's fishtail cut on the end and adhered with SEAL. I added sparkle with Champagne Rhinestones.
