I found out about Stampin' Up! through co-worker who invited me to a party. I learned about the "poppin' pastels" technique and how to add eyelets and use Dimensionals! I was in love with it immediately and purchased some products to create some hand-stamped Christmas cards. After creating 20 holiday cards with my Baroque Burgundy and Forest Foliage coordinating cardstock & ink, along with my first Christmas stamp set…I knew I would be wanting more! I figured I could sign up for the discount and maybe do a few workshops a month to pay for my hobby. So, I contacted the demonstrator I had met and she dropped off the forms & information I needed to sign up. Funny, after I became part of her team, she ended up dropping about two weeks later and I never saw her again. But, here I am…15 years later!
Finishing Touches—I tied some of the 1/8" sheer Flirty Flamingo ribbon from the All My Love Ribbon Combo Pack around the stamped layer and tied it into a knot. That layer is popped up with Dimensionals onto the card front. I finished by adding a few Artisan Pearls in the Grapefruit Grove and Petal Pink shades.
