Do you want a Holiday Catalog from me? I need you to check something on your Stampin’ Up account. MANY of you have the “opt out of communications” checked. We have a new system and this is the first time I’m ordering catalogs under the new system. I can’t mail you a catalog if you have this box unchecked. Many of you who order from me regularly have the opt-out option chosen.

To Check Your Opt-In Status (follow the screen shot photos):

  1. Go to your SU account and click on your name in the upper right hand corner. Click “Demonstrator” on the drop-down list.
  2. I should be listed there as your demonstrator. Click “View” next to my name.
  3. Under “Opted In For Contact” heading, make sure the toggle switch is green and says Opted In.

Download & Print Out the Steps Below for desktop, laptop or mobile. (It’s from Australia but will work the same).

There’s something completely adorable about things that are in miniature and the Framed Scenes Bundle is no exception! Create mini art masterpieces to frame and “hang” on your handmade cards and projects.

I created this card to look like it was hanging on a wallpapered wall. I just love how it turned out! Let me know what you think.

I mounted a 3-3/4″ x 3″ piece of Country Lace Designer Series Paper onto a 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ piece of Basic White cardstock. I also added a 3-3/4″ x 2″ pattern from the same pack onto the bottom of the layer. I 3-3/4″ x 1/4″ strip of Misty Moonlight cardstock creates the “chair rail” between the two papers. I mounted all of the layers onto a Basic Beige card base.

I created a die-cut Pecan Pie frame with the help of the Framed Scenes Dies. It’s popped up with Dimensionals onto a 2-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ piece of yet another pattern of Country Lace DSP.

I stamped the Framed Scenes image in Memento Black ink onto Basic White cardstock. Then, I used several colors of Blends Markers to create a watercolored art work. The lighthouse is in Ivory and Misty Moonlight, grass in Old Olive, trees in Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie, rocks in Gray Granite and water in Balmy Blue. It’s die-cut with the oval Framed Scenes Die and popped up in the frame with Dimensionals.

I stamped a Wonderful Thoughts sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink onto Basic Beige cardstock and die-cut it with the Wonderful Thoughts Dies. It’s added with SEAL Adhesive.

I finished by adding a few Pecan Pie gems that are now retired, but you could easily substitute some Low Profile Dots or other coordinating gems.

  1. Thank you for sharing this card and technique. I purchased this stamp set, but have not used it yet. Your directions are great for how you colored the image. I don’t have the frame dies, but can always make my own frame with other dies and use an embossing folder to make it look like wood. I have several to choose from. Have a blessed week!!! 🙂
