FREE Gift With December Purchases, Plus Folded Bag Gift Card Holders

Today's project is a close-up look at one of the Quick & Cool Stocking Stuffer class projects!  It's a cute & clever gift card holder created by folding a Tag A Bag Gift Bag to create two tiered pockets!  This idea came from Patty Bennett's Founder's Circle swap, which is the Real Red holiday lights version that I've shown above!  We'll be creating the wintery Flurry of Wishes version at the class.

Folded Bag Basics—I scored a glassine Sketched Dots Tag A Bag Gift Bag at the 3" mark up the side and folded it to create my double pockets.  Next, I cut a 10-1/2" x 1-1/2" strip of the snowy pattern of Season of Cheer Designer Series Paper and adhered it around the bag with Fast Fuse.  I wrapped the strip around so that the seams met off-center where the focal point sentiment would attach over the top of it.  I secured the paper in placed with a couple of staples from the Handheld Stapler.

Sweet Sentiment—I wrapped a pretty piece of Whisper White Stitched Satin Ribbon around the holder and tied it into a double-knot, trimming it into a faux-bow shape.  I stamped a Flurry of Wishes sentiment in Night of Navy ink onto Whisper White card stock and punched it with the 2" Circle Punch.  It's popped up with Dimensionals on a 2-3/8" Scallop Circle punch of Silver Glimmer Paper, then popped up again on the front. 

Snowy Accents—I stamped the smallest snowflake from Flurry of Wishes in Night of Navy and punched with the coordinating Snow Flurry Punch.  TIP: The snowflakes image has two flakes, but I cut them apart so it was easy to stamp with them separately.  They still fit back together nicely if I want to line them both up to be used with the double-snowflake punch. 

I added a Rhinestone Jewel to the snowflake center and a couple more rhinestones floating around the sentiment.

Double Pockets—I love that there are two nice-size pockets to use!  You can put a gift card in one and a pull-out card in the other, or fill them both with gift cards!  A Ghirardelli chocolate would also fit—yummy!

Pull-Out Card—I rounded the top corners of a 4-1/4" square piece of Soft Sky card stock with the Curvy Corner Trio Rounder punch.  Then I stamped the Flurry of Wishes sentiment along the top and accented the corners with more Rhinestones. 

Two Cool—Here's a close-up of Patty Bennett's version.  You can see details on her Paper Bag Gift Card Holder at Patty's Stamping Spot.  She used the Kraft Tag A Bag Gift Bags and traditional Christmas colors. It's decorated with a 2" wide strip from the flip-side of the same sheet of Season of Cheer DSP and wrapped with 1/4" Real Red Cotton Ribbon.  The sentiment is from the Oh, What Fun stamp set, stamped in Real Red and layered on a Red Glimmer Paper scallop circle.  The wooden Snowflake Element looks so cute with the kraft bag color. 

To & From—Patty used the handy "to & "from" words from the Oh, What Fun stamp set for the inside.  Perfect!

Complete Supplies List—"Clear" means a rubber stamp on a clear block. "Photopolymer" is see-thru.
