Hi Stamping Friends!
This week I've been spending some time sharing the projects from my In Color Club! The Club is a fantastic way to purchase all of the popular In Color products little-by-little in affordable kits, but my favorite parts of the Club are the fun monthly projects featuring lots of brand new products!
Today, I'm spotlighting the cards that Club participants will be creating during their Fresh Fig month. You can find details on two more colors here: Lemon Lime Twist month and the Powder Pink month.

Fresh Fig Seasonal Layers Die-Cut Cards!
My In Color Club members will get a taste of the awesome new Colorful Seasonal Layers Thinlits during their Fresh Fig month. If you're looking for a versatile, all-occasion stamp set and thinlits combo to get you started…the Colorful Seasons Bundle is the perfect choice!
Colorful Seasons Bundle—You get A LOT of bang for your buck with this amazing bundle! These delightful stamps and dies take you through the entire year: dainty flowers for spring, beach chairs for summer, pretty leaves for fall and delicate snowflakes for winter. And the sentiments are so versatile and they're in a beautiful font, too! This is a "must-have" from the new catalog!
Background Basics—This card begins with a 5" x 3-3/4" piece of Whisper White card stock, stamped with a Colorful Seasons sentiment in Fresh Fig. I layered that onto a 5-1/8" x 3-7/8" piece of Sweet Sugarplum card stock, then mounted it onto a Fresh Fig card base.
Bitty Blossoms—The blooming branch is created with the Seasonal Layers Thinlits. The branch itself is die-cut from Soft Suede card stock and adhered with Multipurpose Glue. I die-cut 5 flowers from the three tiny flowers dies in Powder Pink, Flirty Flamingo and Sweet Sugarplum card stock and attached those with Glue Dots. I finished the centers with Pearl Jewels.
Adirondack Chair—I think one of the most popular shapes that the Seasonal Layers Thinlits creates is the Adirondack chair! It really adds the feeling of relaxation to any project…ahhhh! I cut it from Crumb Cake card stock and adhered it by sponging Multipurpose Glue onto the back.
Die-Cutting TIP: I recommend using the Precision Base Plate and Die Brush for the most successful die-cutting with Thinlits. Also, if your Big Shot is older than 2016, it helps to purchase the new Big Shot Platform because it has a 2mm raised center for extra cutting pressure. All Big Shots order after June 2016 will have that platform included.
Two Cool—My second card is designed with a vertical orientation with the blooming branch coming in from the right-hand side. I also used another sweet sentiment from Colorful Seasons.
Three Cool—On this card, I swapped the background colors; Fresh Fig for the mat and Sweet Sugarplum for the card base. I used this color combo for the last card, as well. I stamped a smaller sentiment this time, too.
Four Cool—On this final card, I moved the chair to the other side to leave more room for the largest greeting from the Colorful Seasons stamp set. I love these sweet & simple cards! How about you? I can see lots of fun projects using this bundle! EEEeeee!
