Friendly Hello Teepee or Pyramid Card
Here's a really cool pop-up card that recipients can display and still folds flat for easy mailing! I received this teepee or pyramid style swap card from Rhonda Bassler.
Teepee Card Base—Don't be intimidated by this fun card style. It's simply two pieces of cardstock that are scored on the diagonal. The first Petal Pink piece measures 8" x 4". First, it's scored down the center mark at 4". Then it's scored on the diagonal from the top of the center score to the bottom corner on the left and the bottom corner on the right.
The second Petal Pink piece measures 4" x 4" and is scored on the diagonal. Simply adhere this piece to the first piece by lining up the diagonal of the second piece with the 4" score line on the first piece.
Decorating The Teepee—To decorate the triangle panels, you'll need two 3-3/4" x 3-3/4" pieces of Friendly Hello Designer Series Paper that are cut diagonally. Two triangle pieces will adhere to the second card base piece and one will adhere to one side of the first card base. You won't need to decorate that final panel, because it will be covered.
Card Closure—Fold the panels to form the teepee shape and the decorated panel will overlap the non-decorated panel. Secure it in place with a small piece of Velcro. You can find thin hook & loop dots at most craft stores or online.
Focal Point—Rhonda created a foundation for the focal point with a Basic Black Hippo & Friends die-cut label adhered to the front. Next, she stamped a Friendly Hello sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Pool Party cardstock, punched it out with the Double Oval Punch and mounted it onto the black label. She then stamped the Friendly Hello bird image in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Basic White and colored it in with Pool Party, Petal Pink, Granny Apple Green and Soft Suede Stampin' Blends Markers. She cut out the image and popped it up onto the label with Dimensionals. Rhonda finished by tying a strip of 1/8" Petal Pink Cotton Ribbon into a knot and attaching it with a Glue Dot. Too Cool!

Flat For Mailing—When you unhook the Velcro fastener, the card folds down flat for easy mailing in a standard envelopes for size A2 cards. Wow!
