Friendly Hello Love & Support Cards
These lovely love & support cards showcase how beautifully the images from the Friendly Hello stamp set can be combined for a pretty focal point. I love all of these soft colors!
Background Basics—I started with a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock that I scored at 4-1/4" for the card base. I embossed a 3-1/4" x 5-1/4" piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock with the stripes part of the Stripes & Splatters Embossing Folder 2-pack and mounted it onto the right side of the card. Along the left side, I added a 3/4" x 5-1/4" piece of Friendly Hello DSP. Finally, I stamped some Pool Party Friendly Hello images onto a 4" x 1-1/4" piece of Pool Party cardstock and adhered it across the bottom.
Focal Point—I die-cut a Basic White large circle with the Layering Circles Dies and stamped a Friendly Hello sentiment on it in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Next, I stamped the two flowers image in Pool Party, then added some Granny Apple Green stamped-off leaves and some Petal Pink flower buds. I die-cut a larger scalloped circle in Basic Black and adhered that directly to the card front, then popped up the stamped layer over the top with Dimensionals. It's finished with a few sparkly Iridescent Rhinestones. Pretty, pretty, pretty!
Two Cool—The second version of this card begins with a Pool Party card base and a splatter textured background created with the Stripes & Splatters Embossing Folders. I used a Fresh Freesia pattern of the DSP along the side. The bottom Petal Pink strip is stamped with images in the same color.
Focal Point—The focal point is stamped similarly to the first card, I just changed the flowers to Fresh Freesia ink and stamped some Pool Party flecks on the petals. So lovely!
