Hi Stamping Friends!
Today is the Last Day to sign up for two of my classes! Registration ends today for the final Countdown to Christmas kit featuring Frosted Foliage. Although the Feels Like Frost DSP has officially sold out, I pre-ordered some of that paper and have enough DSP for just a few more kits! Woohoo! Don't miss out on your chance to create with this gorgeous, real-photo paper!
Also, local Fort Wayne-area stampers have until the end of the day to RSVP for my "Last Thursdays" monthly card class, rescheduled for tomorrow due to Thanksgiving. Details for both classes below!

Feels Like Frost 3-Panel Cards
My Frosted Foliage holiday card kit features 4 each of this cool panel-fold card style, originally created by Rachel Tessman. I loved her cards so much that I knew I wanted to include this unique card, so you could easily create them, too! The best thing about this 3-panel card is that it features the gorgeous scenes from the Feels Like Frost paper so beautifully and uses nearly all of the 6×6" sheet for a panoramic view.
Background Basics—I started with a traditional 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Gorgeous Grape card base, scored at the 1-1/2" and 4-1/4" marks. I folded the base into a Z-fold shape, then stamped the Frosted Foliage berries image along the left panel near the card fold in Gorgeous Grape ink.
Frosted Panels—I selected a coordinating Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper sheet and cut it down into three panels. First, cut 3/4" off the bottom (or top) of the paper to highlight the best part of the paper. Next, cut along the 6" side of the sheet at the 2-3/4" and 3-7/8". This will give you three panels measuring: 2-3/4" x 5-1/4"; 1-1/8" x 5-1/4" and 2-1/8" x 5-1/4".
I adhered the first DSP panel to the folded-back front panel with SNAIL, positioning it with the card closed to center it better.
Next, I adhered the second panel about 1/8" to the left of the center fold of the card and the third panel flush to the right side of the center fold. It helps to have the card fully open for best positioning. I stamped the berries image in Gorgeous Grape ink onto the 1-7/8" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock for the message area.
Sweet Sentiments—I stamped the front Frosted Foliage sentiment in Gorgeous Grape onto a 2-3/4" x 1" piece of Whisper White and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL. I stamped the inside sentiment onto a 2-1/8" x 1" Whisper White piece and adhered it to the third panel.
Finishing Touches—I added a Silver Foil sprig die-cut from the Frosted Frames dies to the front of the card with a couple of Glue Dots. I finished by adding a few Rhinestone Jewels around the sentiment on the front. Sweet and spectacular!
Two Cool—I did a second card with one of the Night of Navy patterns from Feels Like Frost. This time, the front left border was stamped with the branches in Night of Navy ink.
Pretty Panels—I constructed this one exactly the same as the first card with this different Navy scene. It's amazing how easily these come together once you get all the pieces stamped and ready to assemble.
Three Cool—The third card goes back to another Gorgeous Grape card base to match the pretty purples and pinks from the pine Feels Like Frost scene.
I experimented with where I put the sentiment…choosing to cover parts of the scene that were less interesting.
I love the look of the sentiments lined up for a nice visual effect when it's open.
Bundle It & SAVE—Purchase the Frosted Foliage stamp set and Frosted Frames dies together in a bundle to SAVE 10%!
Four Cool—The last version is once again using a Night of Navy scene. The kit will include two card bases in Gorgeous Grape and two in Night of Navy, so you can play with different scenes, as well.
Thanks to Rachel Tessman for sharing this ultra-cool card style and thanks to Janet Shinn for bringing it to my attention!
