Frosted Gingerbread DSP Image Cards
Introducing the first set of cards from my Frosted Gingerbread Countdown To Christmas Class. The focal points couldn't be easier—they are ful-color, pre-printed images die-cut directly from the coordinating Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper. I love when Stampin' Up! gives us this kind of versatility!
If you earn the 5-Card LIVE Class Kit, you'll create the Real Red version shown below in your kit.
Background Basics—I began with a 2" x 5-1/2" piece of Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP adhered down the center of a Real Red card base. Next, I stamped the pretty Frosted Gingerbread border along each side of the DSP in Real Red ink.
Sentiment Background—I stamped a Frosted Gingerbread sentiment in Old Olive ink onto a 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock. I added some peppermint swirl clusters in Pear Pizzazz ink around the background, too. It's layered onto a 3-5/8" x 3-5/8" Basic White, I tied some White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon around the layers, then adhered them onto the card front.
Fantastic Flakes—I die-cut the two snowflakes directly from the Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP paper using the coordinating Gingerbread Dies. I popped them up with Dimensionals, then added a Wonderful Gem to the centers.
Two Cool—This second card in the set has all the same elements, but features an Old Olive snowflake instead. Due to the limited number of image on the DSP, the 5-Card LIVE Class Kits will have one or the other colors in the kit.
Three Cool—The next two cards feature some different colors in the same layout. I started with an Old Olive card base this time, adhered a different pattern of Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP and stamped the borders in Old Olive ink.
Sweet Sentiment Layer—This time I stamped the sentiment and swirls onto Crumb Cake and I changed the positioning of the ribbon.
Pretty Ornaments—There are so many different images from which to choose on the DSP. I selected two colors of ornaments for this third card, but you could choose stars, bells, mittens or trees. Again…so versatile and full of possibilities!
